Because of the financial crunch, a lot of California cities may cease to exist. Who do we blame for this? THE TAXPAYERS?, THE UNIONS?, THE LIBERAL, SOCIALISTS, COMMUNIST POLITICIANS? or ALL OF THEM

The taxpayer voted the politicians into office who signed everything away and most likely got a cut to the unions who took advantage of it all

It took all of them to create this mess let them all share the blame.

We blame ourselves. Besides, the blame game is seriously non-preductive. No sense playing it. YOU have the power to change your own destiny. No one else does.

… Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses.

You will find that the bread will be stale, but the circuses will continue.

The taxpayers deserve criticism for one reason only: they didn't stand up and stop this before it happened.

Yep, you are right on. The tax payers were fed a bunch of bull crap, by the lamestream media, the politicians and the unions. They thought they were getting something for nothing. Hell, they were told that the rich will take care of the spending over runs. Then the "RICH" saw the handwriting on the wall, and left.

Blame all of them, including California voters. But you left out the illegal alien invaders. For they are certainly a major part of the equation when it comes to why CA is so screwed up.

I hate to remind everybody again, but "ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES". If this weren't so sad, it would be funny. There were people 10 years ago that were telling everybody in California, the cities and the states, that what they were doing was unsustainable. But all of those people were lampooned, ridiculed and made fun off, by everybody. The tax payers, the unions, and the politicians, with the help of the lamestream media. All of them drove these "CHICKEN LITTLES" out of the state. Now, it's time to pay the piper, and no one wants to do the paying. Everybody is pointing fingers at each other, blaming each other for the mess they all created. If the whole state declared bankruptcy, will anyone care?
