The school house is not a Church house. Godly people carry God inside them wherever they are and pius, hypocritical words spoken as lip service do not a Christian make. So are you saying that the reason all of those people including 20 innocent children were killed is because God is angry at the schools for not holding prayer meetings in His honor?
Excuse me, but who said you did? GRRRR If I want to accuse you of anything, I will address the accusation to you. Until, then don't be so quick to jump to conclusions based on your own wrong assumptions.
You know I've been watching this back and forth between you, American and Sister. Have you noticed that this thread is for the most part up beat voluntarily, because of the children who were killed in the most recent tragedy.
Why don't you take your fight private, because this thread was so warm, because of the wonderful, thoughtful posts by others, but now you and the gang is spoiling it.
I'm just politely asking you to show some consideration.
Would you be so kind as to tell me what the point was in the lecture that I missed and how it was that I was anymore eager to tell you off than you are to lecture?
From this point on, because I want to stay true to what I said earlier about keeping this post about the unfortunate deceased children, I'd appreciate it if you message me privately and not on this post.
We should all practice what we preach. If you have anything else to say to me or about me, from this point on, I would appreciate if you would do the same. Fair exchange is not a robbery.
I didn't think I was arguing. I was sharing my opinion.
I did not mean for my tone to appear harsh or nasty. Maybe I was word lazy in my typing.
If anything I would like America to take comfort in the fact that they can have faith and come together as a nation in good times as well as in bad times and to stop the senseless bickering on talinging points.
Thanks Pakki for your civilize response, because I was definitely trying to be civilized in my approach. You could have been nasty about it, but chose not to.
Thanks again Pakki for your civilized response, and I'm happy you didn't take my comment the wrong way. It sounds like you definitely get the point I was trying to make.
It wasn't about lecturing you, or trying to tell you what to do, because you're entitled to your opinion just like anyone else. I took a gamble that you may see the bigger picture and thankfully it paid off.
Today I was trying to get my 8 year old son to finish his milk.
So I lifted my glass of milk and said "A Toast" My son held up his glass and said "A Toast" I said "A toast to cookies" My son said "Yes a toast to cookies and also God Bless all the children that were killed". He totally took me by surprise by that. I was like "Oh and of course bless those children" Its so easy to forget how aware kids are and what they absorb.
Wow, and yes kids do absorb so much now, very touching for such a young person to be so compassionate. I know you're very proud of your son, and so am I. The words in the song below is so true, especially as it relates to our children.
Far from it. I am surprised that you of all people would place words in my mouth and falsly accuse me. Especially when you know who the acuser is.
I just find it sad that the country nearly outlaws christianity in public then wonders what happened when they are visited by evil. You know that if you follow Gods word you are under the umbella of love that when you step out from under it you do so out of your own free will. The consequences have nothing to do with Vengeance. God is love, God is not vengeance.
These tradjedies are a symptom of a sick nation that is getting sicker.
Isn't terrible how the nation escorted god out of the schools and then when a school is visited by evil ask where God was.
I was in a hurry and made a mistake.

I hope you feel better, because it's clear that you're so eager to try and tell me off, that you missed the point.

But I always regret it afterwards.
Thank you for reminding me to be sensitive.
