The 'Barefoot Burglar' strikes again, as authorities search for a suspect who stole a plane and violated the Winter Olympics no-fly zone over Vancouver. Investigators believe 18-year-old Colton Harris-Moore stole this plane along with three others. And Colton doesn't even have a pilot's license! In several of the cases, the suspect is said to have been barefoot while committing the crime, hence, the 'Barefoot Burglar'.
An untrained pilot appears to have flown all four planes which were stolen from or crashed near an area that Harris-Moore has lived. Authorities have not found Colston and at this point lack the evidence to pin the plane thefts on the teenager. Harris Moore, a fugitive on the run, does however faces 11 charges for auto theft.
The 'Barefoot Burglar' may be breaking the law, but he's doing so in impressive fashion -- especially for an 18-year-old.
Is the 'Barefoot Burglar' bad-ass or just bad?
