Barack Obama's views on gay marriage have finally fully evolved. He announced that he believes same-sex couples should be allowed to get married.
What about you? Do you think same-sex couples should be allowed to marry?

Nat™ 2012/05/09 20:07:51I stand behind Obama's support of gay marriage!

You haters are really going to hate yourself when Empty Suit is one and done.
Southern Democraps were the the party of segregation.
We're not anti-gay. We're pro traditional marriage. You can call your deal something else, but it's not a marriage.
"Our gang" has no agenda like you clods.
Better go talk to some blacks for a change and see if they like your equivalency of gays to the civil rights deal.
As far as Gay marriage, the American people are split 50 50 on that. At one time it was over whelming against Gay marriage. So America is evolving on this issue!!!!
Marriage does not just involve 2 people anymore. It involves a great deal. With recognition from the state and federal government marriage carries with it a great deal of rights and benefits. These benefits cost tax payer money. Therefore, in a way, taxpayers are funding marriage benefits and should be able to stipulate who they afford those benefits to based on who they beleive will be of greatest worth to society as a whole.
This is to a single man and a single woman. It has been thus for thousands of years.
Many of the benefits are provided with children in mind. Many of them are to support a dependant spouse etc... This has nothing to do with how some people choose to spend their lives, it simply states that the state will not fund and provide benefits for their alternative lifestyle. That is all it says.
The majority of America, while content to let homosexuals live the way they desire, are not ready to fund their alternative lifestyles via marriage benefits. That is not bigotry or hatred. It is democracy.
As for the fact that, thanks to religion which has kept people willfully ignorant, marriage was traditionally between a man and a woman? Well, slavery was traditionally common, too.
That about sums up your argument. When you're ready to talk like an adult, get back to me.
Go back to my original post and talk about the points I made there. Dont call me a racist/slaver/ignorant- it just makes you look small. Have a day.
It's Vermin Supreme! Yes Democrats, now you have more than one reasonable choice.
First there was Keith Russell Judd and now the Great Vermin Supreme!

Because either is a better choice than Obama
Gays don't have abortions, they often adopt children who need a home and give them a loving, stable environment... SOME gays are perverts, but so are some straights.
