Barack Obama economic plan casualty GM needs another bailout to survive. Should we let Obama throw away more good money after bad? Or is it time to let GM sink or swim on its own the best way it can?

If GM management hasn't learned yet how to stay competitive, it never will. They should just downsize keeping the Corvette Division, since it is profitable, and anything else that isn't dragging them under. The Chevy Volt is an albatross around GM's neck.

They should have declared bankruptcy in the first place, it wouldn't have been the end of GM and job losses would have been minimal and temporary. The company would then renegotiate contracts, create a new board of directors, and come back leaner and better than before. Instead DC gave them gravy to get over corinary disease, it was foolish then and it's foolish now.
The real problem here is GM management. Forget government intervention: the byzantine management structure has to go but if the government just steps in and creates a new management that doesn't guarantee it'll be good or successful.
Let OBAMA and the DemoRATS INVEST their personal fortunes to BANKROLL GM again. Include all those Republicans that voted for the bailout as well.
Let them PUT THEIR MONEY where their mouth is!
We should be demanding this of all MONIES SPENT.
Mandate that they TREAT ALL SPENDING AS IF IT WAS THEIR MONEY.
Not just rob the Taxpayer blind
