Bain Capital: How Many Voters Understand Capitalism?

Obama 2012 has decided to attack capitalism as its election campaign message. Obama 2012 banks (pun intended) on people not understanding how capitalism works. President Barack H. Obama either (a) believes his message that capitalism doesn't work; (b) doesn't understand capitalism; or (c) doesn't believe his own Obama 2012 campaign message.
Sometimes I get very frustrated trying to explain capitalism to people. The public schools have "faled" to teach the basics. People don't understand that the government has over-regulated the markets so much that the failings we see today stem from government intervention -- not capitalism. The damage caused by the greed of politicians far outweighs the damage done by the greed of capitalists.
Bain Capital created more jobs than Barack Obama ever did as a community organizer or Community Organizer and Chief (president). Mitt Romney understands that people want to create wealth for themselves and to give to charity. Government gets in the way more than it helps -- with both of those efforts.
I posted this picture of Mitt Romney with the caption "Why Don't Poor People Just Buy More Money?" because it made me laugh. It pointed out the absurdity of those that don't understand capitalism -- and nobody accuses Mitt Romney of misunderstanding capitalism.

Greedy Politicians Cause More Damage+10Our sorry education system, has DUMBED down American young people and fed them Marxist propaganda for so long... they actually think Socialism will work... Dumb and Dumber

Liberals think in more shades of gray.
This question reflects the black and white thinking of a conservative mind. Why do I say that? Because there is no third option. One must select either black or white, then fill in the gray shades.
In our American Oligarchy, the greedy politicians write laws written by the greedy Capitalists. It has created the system of welfare for the wealthy, which demands a higher percentage of taxable income from those who are actually doing work, producing something.
What is lost in the whole process are the moral and spiritual values as taught by spiritual leaders such as Jesus. Ironic, given a country in which the Religious Right screams about keeping "In God We Trust" as the nation's motto, while blatantly ignoring the values taught by God.
So here is the question, rather than which from of greed does the most damage.
Is the Religious Right really willing to recognize that it the GREED that is doing the damage. Are proponents of the Religious Right willing put their vote where there mouth is?
Is the Religious Right really willing to base their voting decisions on Jesus word...

Is the Religious Right really willing to base their voting decisions on Jesus words: “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich(X) to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
Or are they really willing to abandon the wisdom of God as taught by Jesus when a rich ruler, rich ruler, like Mitt Romney, comes to ask how to obtain salvation: See for the whole story http://www.biblegateway.com/p...
We need more charter schools and they can do a better job at half the cost.
"Bain Capital created more jobs than Barack Obama ever did as a community organizer or Community Organizer and Chief (president)."
Its probably more realistic to say Bain destroyed more jobs then Obama ever created...
Politicians who don't understand economic systems keep passing legislation that supports, not true capitalism, but crony capitalism. Regulatory rules written by those who are being regulated have made the giant banks and financial institutions immune from prosecution for corrupt practices and collusion, and the courts have upheld the banks in the few cases where the victims of these banks have been able to fight through the system (most victims are bankrupted to keep them out of court).
And, in fact, the law should not allow people to be corrupt. A legal system that allows people to donate money to political campaigns forces some political campaigns to accept corruption in order to compete.
That aside, the OP is just wrong. Obama has not 'decided to attack capitalism'. That's just a lie. The claim that:
{the government has over-regulated the markets so much that the failings we see today stem from government intervention -- not capitalism.}
is simply not true. A lack of regulation in the financial sector, as well as a failure of government to act on long-term trade deficits is the cause of the recession. A failure of government to act to end it is the reason it has lasted so long.
They would also know it's a system of exploitation that creates far more poverty than wealth and is designed to benefit the few at the expense of the many.
When people get a lot of money from things they don't produce it means there are people who must produce a lot of things for money they don't get.
They'd know it was the most destructive system known to man and that its need for cyclical consumption and continual expansion can only lead to self destruction.
It's taken the world to the brink of financial collapse and started the 6th major extinction event in planet history
I would have thought the meltdown, high unemployment, growing worldwide debt and general discontent would wake people up but it's obvious the propaganda of a lifetime has taken away the ability to see reality.
Capitalism seeks to turn everything into a commodity and then exploit that commodity to maximize profit. That's why with less than 5% of the population we consume 25% of the world's resources and produce 30% of the pollution.
It's no wonder we're such a shining example and loved the world over. That and bombing or overthrowing any country that doesn't knuckled under to the IMF who, btw, are the very definition of capitalist.
