A New York author was sentenced to 10 days of community service on Tuesday for running onto the Yankee Stadium field during a National League Championship Series game, with handwritten notes about how he wanted to hurt third baseman Alex Rodriguez.
Turns out it was all a publicity stunt for his book, The New York Post reports.
The judge who sentenced him reportedly said, "I always wondered what kind of idiot did that."
LeRogue was subjected to a nine-day psych evaluation, and came out squeaky clean.
