Jumping to conclusions is never a good idea. These kinds of nut cases turn up in every country but unfortunately America seems to have more than it's fair share. We have a political system that riles people up about so many things and divides us by every possible difference. That might or might not have something to do with it. I suspect the shooter was a functioning schizophrenic who was off his meds and living a nightmare. He was intelligent and going for a PhD in college but the illness probably got the best of him. We will have to wait and see. A phone call to his mother confirmed that she was not surprised.

ABC News is trying to quickly associate the mass-shooting subject to the Tea Party.Before the blood is even dry in the theater.In order to try to smear the Tea Party as may of inspiring this nut's actions.

But,the same ABC News are OK with the Obama Administration assertion that the Fort Hood Mass Shooting is just a case of "work place violence".In spite of extensive evidence that the shooter had numerous contacts with oversea terrorists,via the internet.

An earlier ABC News broadcast report suggested that a Jim Holmes of a Colorado Tea Party organization might be the suspect, but that report was incorrect. Several other local residents with similar names were also contacted via social media by members of the public who mistook them for the suspect.

ABC also issued an online apology: “ABC News and Brian Ross apologize for the mistake, and for disseminating that information before it was properly vetted.” And Ross said on-air: “An earlier report that I had was incorrect that he was connected with the Tea Party in fact that’s a different Jim Holmes. He was not connected to the Tea Party and what we do know about him is he is a 24-year-old white male who went to Colorado for a Ph.D.”
