The Obama campaign cannot win re-election if his base is not excited.
At a fundraiser for young professionals in his hometown of Chicago on
Sunday, reports indicated that the attendance was less than impressive.

New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor tweeted that admission
to the event was "only $51" but the room was just "half full." Her tweet
got splashed on the Drudge Report, and the Obama campaign scrambled to
respond. Kantor subsequently tweeted that just some of the tickets were
$51, and that the campaign told her the event was actually sold out.
Kantor then tweeted that even though the campaign claimed the event was
sold out, the room was just half full.

Kantor tweeted: "Hmmm.

    His up keep is expensive---
President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000 a year at
    taxpayer expense .
According to the Pentagon, the Boeing 747 that normally serves as Air Force One costs $179,750 an hour to operate
People are tired of his lavish ways and paying for them with tax payers money !!!!!! And our grand children will have to pay for all this plus interest !!!!!!!

People are losing their loving feelings for a do nothing President !!!!!!

He's hurting. More and more prominent Democrats keep canceling their appearance at the Democratic Convention cause they don't want to tank their careers.

a few not so prominent democrats are not attending because of their own campaign. Besides the funding isn't there so that's why the cut back. Sounds right to me.. After all he is running for re-election, why spend the money? I think it's smart.. Who are the more prominent Democrats? Curious.. I know of only eight out of 280 and that ain't shabby..

Not only has he lost the air out of his balloon, but he’s destroyed so much of Americans wealth, even his supporters can’t spare an extra $51.

Did you read the other end of the fee per person....40K per person. He can't govern but has had in the range of 200 plus fundraisers. The $51.00 was probably at some childs entertainment center so he could take their ice cream/candy money.

Like Team Obama is actually going to acquire a facility which will appear to be half empty when all the Obama Media is in attendance and parts of the event will be broadcast nationally.

And I can draw a picture of the sun setting…so what?

The topic was the Obama event and only filling the facility to half capacity.

As an Obama supporter, you don’t find it concerning that his base, especially the middle class that he claims to care so much about, is losing interest?

Attempting to justify Obama’s loss of support by pointing to something irrelevant surrounding Romney is a weak argument.
