Each year, states and localities spend about $84 billion on services for illegal aliens. Clearly, this is an unwise way to spend taxpayer dollars when so many states are having trouble making ends meet. However, 11 states already require the use of the federal SAVE system to verify benefit applicants to ensure they are in this country legally, and therefore entitled to receive public assistance.
Please send your state legislators a fax and encourage them to pass legislation that would require benefit applicants to be run through the SAVE system so that illegal aliens cannot receive services meant for American citizens. Giving welfare benefits to illegal aliens only encourages these individuals to stay in the United States and even encourages more people to come here illegally.

ACLU ones especially.
Take federal welfare programs. Although illegal aliens are barred from accessing them, they obtain benefits such as Medicaid, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, and food stamps on behalf of their U.S.-born children. Since cash welfare benefits and food stamps are fungible within a household, that welfare spending directed at the children of illegal immigrants also benefits the parents. It is also quite likely that a substantial portion of the medical costs of births to illegal aliens are funded through the Medicaid program.
CIS estimates that 40% of illegal alien households nationwide receive some type of welfare despite federal prohibitions.... because of their children. That rate is even higher in states with larger numbers of illegal aliens such as New York (49%), California (48%), and Texas (47%). Contrast that very high rate with the fact that only 19% of households headed by a native-born citizen receive welfare benefuts.
Automatic citizenship rights cost this country many billions. There should have been an amendment years ago.

I do not disagree that we need a solution to this problem. It is my opinion that the problem has to be solved in a comprehensive way. 1) We must take into account families and keep them together. 2) We must look at all the borders not just the Mexican border. 3) We have to look at the cost of anything we do. 4) Hiring is the real problem and the biggest problem in hiring isn't undocumented but H1b documented, those are the ones taking the high paying jobs. Some employers have to go to jail. The only solution I see that would work is a comprehensive one that solves all these problems at once and maintains the traditions of the US.
Our friend runs the contagious diseases department, he has a family of 14 being treated for Tuberculosis, 14, 2 parents and 12 kids, ALL on the public dole getting expensive treatments, free housing, free food, GO THE EFF HOME already and contaminate YOUR OWN population.
OK, you know someone who knows a large family with TB what has that got to do with citizenship?
I am fully aware that a few undocumented cheat. So do many documented.
ANY immigrant whether legal or not that lives in America, should learn English. Period, it should be a mandatory thing.

Babies have big heads and big eyes, and tiny little bodies with tiny little arms and legs. So did the aliens at Roswell! I rest my case.
