In this week’s “Meet the Press” mid-week “PRESS Pass” conversation, David Gregory sat down with actress and activist Ashley Judd.

She admitted that she has been disappointed by President Obama’s performance “to a certain extent,” but: “Now I’m pretty fired up again… and I think that he is a powerful leader. I think he’s a brilliant man. I think that he has an incredible devotion to our constitution. And that he is now able to flower more as the president I knew he could be. And I was extremely proud of his statement about gay marriage, for example, because he didn’t need to do that. He was just displaying his values and his belief in equality. And that moved me to tears.”

What is it about actors and politics? They think life is a screenplay that they can do over if it doesn't work out on the first take?
I really like Ashley Judd as an actor. I use to think very fondly of her as a person but now I know better...just another teleprompter from Washington. What an idiot...
