This is just a ploy to get this Obamacare bill passed and to give him more power. Think about it. If this virus was really this bad and widespread, why aren't they closing down venues like movie theaters, concerts, football games and so on? Answer, no epidemic, and these people ALL CONTRIBUTED MILLIONS TO HIS CAMPAIGN SO WOULDN'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING TO UPSET THEM. (THEY ALL MAKE MILLIONS OFF OF THE EVIL CAPITALISM THAT THEY ARE ALWAYS BADMOUTHING) If this was a true emergency this would be mandatory. I would have real concerns with an administration that campaigned against there rivals based on the opposing party threatening liberties due to the war on terror. We must stand up for out liberties, once gone, they are gone for good.

How did you get "suspension of rights" out of that? Nothing has been done as far as suspending the 1st Amendment as yet.
The only thing that's happened is the suspending of "some " federal rules to allow for easier delivery of the vaccine.
The thing that hasn't happened which should concern people more is the fact the border is still open letting people in.
We are told we shouldn't travel there but;
"Mexico has enforced quarantines of persons suspected to have been exposed to the virus and travel advisories have been issued advising tourists to avoid Mexico".
I doubt seriously they've stopped people crossing "into" the states.
If you're worried about it, contact your governor and find out what the state is doing in this matter.

We are NOW at Level 6 in the CDC pandemic level...this is akin to code red in the Homeland security terror alert The federal govt. DHS can NOW declare Martial Law, if they so desire.

The fact is if you take precautions that you should have been doing in the first place, you can pretty much protect yourself.
If you are concerned, get the flu shot. Then if you come down with something, stay home.
People who are at the highest risk are those who are already compromised like people with AIDS, or other Cardio-Pulmonary problems.
The best rule of thumb is stay clean, stay well.

I don't want anything to do with their invented crisis. Calling H1N1 a national emergency is rediculous; more people die in car accidents than died from H1N1. Do we forbid people to drive?
