Sure, you can say Romney was born with the proverbial golden spoon in his mouth. But if you had his money and opportunities, tell me if you think you would be any better a person than he has been after reading these;

My father raised me to believe that, "People who live in glass houses shouldn't cast stones."

And, from what I see, Romney, though he be not perfect, is definitely a decent guy overall, far better than most folks. And I know of no current politician more suited and qualified to perform the task of turning around our nation's failing economy. See:

Compare that to a POS dog-eatin' Kenyan with a fake birth certificate who advocates killing NEWBORN babies who survive abortions:

I have no interest in attacking Mr Romney's person.

His policies keep me busy enough.

I have more character than Willard. It's not just that Mitt Romney is incredibly rich with ill-gotten money -- though he certainly is that. Earning about $380,000 puts you in the top 1% of American earners. Romney makes that every WEEK. But the real problem is that -- unlike, say, Newt Gingrich or Bill Clinton or Barack Obama who started poor/middle class and got rich -- Romney has lived in a strange bubble of wealth for his entire life. He simply doesn't know what it's like to live as a normal person. What kind of man rides a bicycle around France while other young men were dying in rice paddies of Nam. He is a coward.

No I would not try to earn money as Romney did. He perfected predatory capitalism at Bain & Co.-- leveraged buyouts, taking over companies by borrowing against their own assets, stripping them of resources, firing workers, busting unions and getting rid of workers' pensions. Meanwhile, he himself gets a multimillion dollar annual pension from Bain, which he pays minimal taxes on due to tax shelters and hiding his money in foreign tax havens (such as Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, and Swiss bank accounts) that have extreme secrecy. In 1989, Romney led Bain Capital's purchase of Damon Corp., a medical testing company, and took a seat on the Board of Directors to better manage it. During Romney's four years, Bain tripled its investment, and Romney personally made $473,000 -- while Damon plumped its profits with Medicare fraud (running thousands of medical tests doctors didn't want, and billing Medicare for them). The company pled guilty to crimes committed during his tenure and paid a record fine of $119 million. Company President Joseph Isola pleaded no contest to fraud, and a vice president was also convicted.

Romney claims he "uncovered" the fraudulent claims and "took corrective action," but court records show that he did not notify prosecutors or stop the fraudulent billing. He just asked company lawyers what changes they could make to avoid prosecution.

And you admire this man? Says a lot about you.

I disagree. If you had MORE character that he does, as you allege, you wouldn't have unethically lambasted him unjustly.

Bet you didn't even read the data I provided in those two links, did you? If not, then you've opted to remain deliberately ignorant of the good Romney has done. Blind to his good deeds, but with your radar out to latch onto anything disparaging, whether of substance or not.

I have read much about Mitt Romney, going back to 2008 when he was running for the Presidency. I knew about his unethical and shameful business dealings long before Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum brought his vulture ways to light. He is simply a husk of a human being; there is nothing inside except a desire for wealth at any cost. Loyal workers are expendible. He has no soul. He is a master of deceit, constantly reinventing himself, and duping easily impressionable people like you.

I usually am not interested in the links you cherry pick to align with your own thinking, especially since most are from SODA, an opinion site.

Too late for what? Surely Romney's agenda is infinitely better than Obama's.

You still give credence to the stereotype of a Lib who votes Democrat regardless of whether you agree with their agendas or not.

You've made it clear you're not a fan of illegals, so how can you justify supporting someone who puts their interests ahead of America's best interests.

Are you also a fan of killing NEWBORN babies who survive abortions?

Lastly, does the idea of balancing the budget without raising taxes sound superior to what Obama spending money like there's no tomorrow with NO budget?
    http://www.sodahead.com/unite...

There us no RATIONAL way for you to believe that Romney's agendas are as bad as Obama's, let alone worse, as you absurdly implied. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!

QUESTION: Are you that great of a person that you can criticize Mitt Romney?

by tncdelPostedSeptember 01, 2012 (9 minutes ago) stevegtexas@aol.com ANSWERED: i think criticism comes from all over and isnt based on someones "status" in life. Its called an opinion, and peoples opinons can be right and also wrong...... if someone was ALWAYS right, we might have "dictatorship?" ive never met ANYONE that is ALWAYS "fair and impartial".............they would make a great judge though eh?

oh yeah, i agree also......ive watched the guy on cable years ago (they needed better microphones to hear the Q and As) when he was visiting a town shaking hands and answering quesions......great candidate.....i had never heard of his running mate, but that seems to be a NEW trend.....the first time i ever heard of OBAMA was when he spoke at the democratic national convention....unfortunately....i dont think the young lady from Utah who spoke at the Republican convention will get the same type of welcome as a presidential candidate...... QUESTION: Are you that great of a person that you can criticize Mitt Romney?

You truly have been a better person than Romney has demonstrated? Well, I certainly don't lack self-confidence, but I don't delude myself thinking I've been a better person than Romney. And I'm the founder of two non-profit groups. Galahads, Inc. [to curb abuse of women, children ad others vulnerable]. And P.A.R.E., Inc. ["People Against Racism Equally].
