We know they hate Obama. They've made that clear. Right now, all that's coming from them is whining about the same things over and over again. Where were they when G.W. drove us into trillions of dollars of debt?

This simply can't be right. When Obama took office the official federal debt was about $11 trillion, and now it's $16 trillion. Obama has inflated the civil service by about 20%, and federal spending as a percent of GNP is about 40% (higher than any time in history except years of major wars). I think you need to check some more sources. The above data, at least about Obama, is clearly wrong.

I was born under the Truman Presidency and have paid attention to every Presidency since I knew who the President was and what he did. G.W. was the absolutely worst I have ever seen. Now he's someone we should have gotten school records on. He was only a C student!

Yes, it's true. He shares the same economic freedom plank that mainstream conservatives have, but he has some very odd social opinions (very prudish), and even odder international platforms (like transnationalism; very strange for a con). He's really a mixture of paleoconservatism (extreme social conservativism), mainstream conservativism (with respect to economic issues), and certain aspects of international socialism (creating law by international concensus at the expense of national sovereignty). He's a very odd duck.
