I have made up my mind now...I have been a fan from the start but had a fear of him not being electable, now I think its possible ...Herman Cain is married for, I think about 40 years his wife seems like a classy lady..., He has two grown children one boy one girl, He has a great long going education..He is a God loving man..He is a Patriot, he is honest, straight talking strong man...He came from humble beginnings.....He has great experience in business...he is NOT a politician... for me he fits what I want as a leader for my beloved Country...I feel like he is a no nonsense hard working man who loves his country if nominated he will get my vote

Romney is a sale out for Obama care, and Perry is in bed with La rasa and the illegal alies! So I'm going with Cain all the way now instead

He should have been the pick in 2008 and we wouldn't be in this mess we are now.

From what I just read, I will keep this man in mind.
We need someone in office who isn't going to yak about what they are going to do when elected and then disappoint the people. It's time we had someone we can trust. I'd like to find out a little more about this Herman Cain first though.

I am intrigued by Mr. Cain... and I'm following him VERY closely.... unlike our president and frankly the other candidates, Mr. Cain has actually come forth with an economic plan ... he's walking the walk, not just talking the talk ... how refreshing!
However, I'm not ready to throw my hat in for any specific candidate just yet ... I've had my eye on another candidate for several years, whom I still stand by .. I have had visions of these two men as Pres/Vice Pres being quite capable of economically getting this country back on its feet .... one thing is for sure... Obama hasn't, can't and won't!

One thing is for sure.. this lovely and classy woman (Mrs Cain) would not embarrass this country like the current First Lady has....

    I love the 9, 9, 9 plan.
The State of Oregon requires that it follow the the same rules as the federal government for income taxes.
We do not have a sales tax here at the moment, so I do not know how this is set up to work in states that have one or both taxes.

i dont think he is gonna have it too easy ,but if enough of us support him ...who knows ? he 's got simple answers to complex questions and he stays with what he says . and really , do you want a morman or dominionist as president ?

color no....religion yes , its all good to to have faith in god , but not to the point where your religion gets in the way of governence . without getting into the aspects of some of the religions i mentioned i say this , some of their beliefs are down right scary and if that starts to bleed into their political thoughts ...then if you think our government is messed up now , just wait .

When have you ever seen their religious beliefs bleed into their political aspirations for the country?
  • fisherman MQ-Amer... 2011/10/02 21:11:45

perhaps because i am not a religious person ....and not really understanding what the mindset is for some of the beliefs people have ( magic hats , gold plates , white salamanders ) makes you wonder if they would bring that kind of thinking to the table if elected to be president .

and from what i read about dominionism ( i never heard that term before perry entered the race ) , thats some scary thinking . i could imagine a sharia type of rule springing from that kind of logic . all i am saying is this country really could do without any more creatures in the swamp .

thats what i like about herman cain , he is an old man (65 ) that has been a success in life , beat cancer and should be sitting back enjoying the results of his efforts .so what does he want to do ? pick up a mop , shovel and broom and clean up the worst mess we ever had in washington . no baggage , no religous hang ups and a sense of humor .

Herman Cain is my second choice. He's very good, I am very familiar with him because I listened to his talk show every night here in Atlanta. He has flip flopped on the issue of auditing the Federal Reserve. He said the Fed does not need to be audited because they already have many internal audits. That answer does not work for me and many others. I noticed at one of the debates he mentioned auditing the Fed. However, he did not state whether he was referring to an independent audit or an internal. He also worked for the Fed in the past. Being there is much suspected corruption concerning the Fed, we must pay close attention to how and if at all he intends to deal with the Fed. But I do generally like Herman Cain. Ron Paul seems to have some better ideas in my opinion.

Sure, right.....Good luck with that....The very least of any tea party candidates could beat Obama. His dwindling support and low approval ratings are going to really hurt him. Even though I am not a Herman Cain supporter, I know Herman Cain would absolutely crush him, especially if Obama is forced to debate him.
