    I voted for McCain, but only because Sarah Palin was on the ticket. But at least I didn't vote for the idiot currently residing in the WH.

    I had to hold my nose and vote for McCain. Empty Suit wasn't even a possibility.
    Republicans need to stop the RINO offerings and nominate someone that is proud of their conservative beliefs.
    This is crunch time - we can't survive 4 more years of radical democrap rule.

    I voted for McCain because he was the lesser of two evils. He was the Republican establishments choice and mighty poor one! He was better than who won, that's for sure, but I'm not proud of my vote!

    The choices sucked... It came down to voting for someone with no real experience except for the two years he voted "present" in the Senate, or the guy that has been a DC insider for far too long.

    lets face it. how many presidents have actually been worthwhile? not many. one bad president isnt any worse than the one we just shipped off. so lets all quit bitching and see that we would be complaining about our president no matter who won the election.

    Now that you mention it, my intent was to abstain until he picked Palin. I remember clear as day my 5 year-old granddaughter seeing McCain and Obama on TV. I asked her who she liked, and she pointed to Obama--then went back to her toys. Next thing you know, McCain chooses Palin for VP. For the next several weeks, any time Palin was on TV, she would get her little chair, place it in the middle of the room and watch Sarah Palin until the next segment came on.
