    I guess not - the dems stopped many of the military's votes a couple of seasons ago, if not every election.

    Ok. Thank you for answering. That is wrong to not direct people to where they are to go. That person could be a democrat voter or republican voter. It could happen to either party. The individuals that are working in the voting rooms could be either party as well.

    That is not right. I am aware that last election dead people somehow made it to the polls. No doubt things are messed up.

    "That person could be a democrat voter or republican voter. It could happen to either party."

    ...actually, as the video suggests, these laws have been selectively targeted in Democratically leaning districts and counties.

    Voting rights? Courtroom rights? Religious freedom rights for atheists? Women's equality rights? Water rights?

    I've done LOTS of research - and I know what rights are being put in danger - so you MUST mean the rights being chipped away at by the extreme right-wing political movement.

    Not necessary - they're obvious to anyone who hasn't been brainwashed.

    This isn't your poll, anyway. I'm waiting for the author of this poll to explain what rights HE means.

    Religion freedom rights for atheists? Atheists have no religion.

    courtroom rights? Water rights?

    You are only going to answer a question from a HE? Not a SHE?

    Bush: The Constitution a ‘Goddamned Piece of Paper’?
    Posted on December 12, 2007 , Updated on Feb. 21, 2011

    Q: Did President Bush call the Constitution a "goddamned piece of paper"? A: Extremely unlikely. The Web site that reported those words has a history of quoting phony sources and retracting bogus stories.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...
    So, it can be assumed he never said it, no one ever heard him say it, and hatred caused the post - NOT a fear of its being unconstitutional. Merely a means to destroy Bush, like everything else the left comes up with.
    "Merely a means to destroy Bush, like everything else the left comes up with."
    The "left" SO doesn't need to "come up" with anything to destroy Bush.
  • Bastion Tasine 2012/10/03 13:51:41
    Bastion
    It's all obvious and out in the open, that's why.
    The people needing to "come up" with something are Republicans trying to HIDE from the Bush legacy.
    You REALLY have a TWO TERM Republican administration, and NOT ONE member is invited to speak at the Republican convention?
    Talk about "destroying" someone.
  • Tasine Bastion 2012/10/03 15:59:58
    Nah. The RNC, like the DNC is self-destructing. For both to self destruct is the best thing that could happen to America and its citizens. We will have corrupt government as long as these parties exist - and frankly I believe the corruption will be where ever politicians exist. I believe in having no politicians. Do you feel you need them in order to have a meaningful life?
  • Bastion Tasine 2012/10/03 17:03:20
    Bastion
    We need to have our constitutional republic - and we as citizens, and as consumers of American civilization, can not be left to the mercies of national and multi-national corporations wihout redress and advocacy.
    To do away with "politicians" is to invite anarchy and fascism.
    The Founding Fathers railed against "factions" and then immediatly started them. Factions are fed by power fed by money.
    Want to do away with the power of political parties? Get the money out of politics - oj, but that's "limiting free speech", since this Supreme court says money is speech.
    Want to fix all this? Voting progressive is the start.
  • Tasine Bastion 2012/10/03 17:38:07
    Tasine
    ABSOLUTELY!! Then freedom of speech won't be a concern. Nor will any other rights given us by our creator(s). One dictator and his cabal can dictate everything we do, eat, say, work at, etc. The progressive dream!
    What a DISGUSTING thought!!!
  • Bastion Tasine 2012/10/03 18:13:37
    Bastion
    So you've just demonstrated that you have no idea what progressivism is. "Dictator and his cabal"? If you want to live in a fantasyland that has no connection to reality, fine. But don't expect to have your political opinions taken seriously if you express such wacko fear-mongering.
    It's either mere ignorance or denial in order to remain in the shepherd's fold with the other sheeple. They'll have a better idea once they are picked up and held without cause, without bail, without a lawyer, and without a trial.
    I totally know what you are talking about, but the truly and continuously indoctrinated will NEVER understand until they get picked up one day and held without reason and without representation and without a trial. They cannot or do not understand incrementalism though their politicians certainly DO understand it. And THEIR elected leaders will be the ones causing their loss of liberties. And it will be too late. It's a sad statement about the American public - I only hope enough Americans can see what is happening. My county is actively preparing for catastrophes that will come so that we WILL survive. We are having open meetings about it. I haven't yet attended one, but intend to soon. I have been preparing for about 2 years now.
