    Happy Holidays.

40% of the people where I live aren't Christian. Why presume people they are?

And two weeks or so which encompass both Christmas and New Year's clearly are "holidays", not just Christmas.

Governments must say "Holidays". Businesses should. But individuals? I don't care. Unless it's one of those bulk religious emails from a "friend", going on about how evil non-Christians are for daring to not want to say "Christmas". Then I fire back.

LOL. I'm way late and after the fact.

    Always, Merry Christmas!
If I know that the person is Jewish, I wish him a Happy Hanukkahh.
I'm Catholic. I won't hide my religion for anybody. It's a free country! I staunchly believe and declare what I believe. Everyone else do your thing! I don't bother you about your beliefs. Leave me alone about mine! Thank you

Merry Christmas of course! Always remember that Jesus, was born on this day. He, is the reason for the season. I really don't like happy holidays, to inpesonal for so special a day. So,let other people think and say what they want, as long as you believe in what YOU are saying. If people don't like hearing Merry Christmas, let them go to another country and see if they can say anything they want and try to make that country speak English or their beliefs. See what happens then. I am so tired of hearing about taking God, out of everything this country stands for. George Washington even said if not for God, we wouldn't have won the war with England!!!!

It covers Christmas, the New Year, and all the other holidays that fall in this fortnight. And I actually celebrate most of them, mostly out of love for diversity and the season, since I'm a secular humanist.

You know many of us are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, and it is Christmas, not happy holidays.....If you are Jewish you are celebrating Hannuka, and if you wish you can celebrate something else......but WE are celebrating Christmas.....so MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I always say "Merry Christmas." If someone wishes me a "Happy Holidays," I reply "Merry Christmas" back to them. If they can wish me a "Holidays" I can wish them a "Christmas." It tells them what I believe in. I do not apologize for being a Christian.

That's why we have a celebration at this time of year. I think people forget that Christmas has the word CHRIST in it. It isn't Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or youcan'tsaythatwordzaa, it's CHRISTMAS!

It depends on who you are saying it to. If you know the person is a Christian then "Merry Christmas." If you know the person is not a Christian or if you're not sure then "Happy Holidays."

Good. When you own a company, then you can call it what you want. What is wrong with a "holiday party"? Surely you don't expect an employer to only hire christians.

They never hired only Christians when they called it a Christmas Party . Oh shoot , I forgot it is about CHANGE !.... Let us change it all so no one person feelings are hurt. Let us accommodate the few so they are not left out. My company is World wide , and I am sure they Celebrate the local customs overseas.... You were 4 years old when I went to work for the Company I am with. I am glad you have an opinion....A company I really do not believe hires on the Basis of what they call a HOLIDAY PARTY

Ok. As far as i'm concerned, every company can have "christmas parties" or "holiday parties". It is their business, not mine and not yours.

What? I'm simply saying that it is none of your business what policies a company has.
