Well I want to marry my Working Dog "I have a disability" you can not discriminate! Also I will make love with my Dog and express love to my Dog. I want my Dog to be covered under my health / life / dental insurance and collect social security when it reaches age in Dog years. It is my working dog so when it can not work it will collect unemployment, if it gets injured on the job it will get workmans comp and or social security disability if it has a qualifying disability. By the way, if I die before my Dog, my Dog gets everything, that means EVERYTHING! Some people do not think this will happen! Well "WE" never thought that about GAY marriage now did "WE"

It's not that I don't care; I can see it from both sides. I think some of it is honestly semantics, and if the word "marriage" weren't used, it wouldn't be as controversial to some on the right. I personally think gays should have the same rights as everyone else, and it doesn't bother me if they are married. It's not going to "hurt" society. On the other hand, I don't like government weighing in, because the implication is that, like with certain portions of the healthcare mandate, religious or traditionalist private institutions (not churches or mosques, per se, but rather groups like catholic hospitals and private employers) will be forced to recognize/support things via insurance provisions, etc., that go against their values, or be run out of business. How is forcing them to deny who they are and what they stand for different than traditionalists forcing LGBTs to deny who they are? Some would say that gays don't choose to be gay, but that people can choose their values. That may be true, but people can also choose where they work. Why should catholic or other traditionalist businesses be forced to provide things to employees they don't support? People who don't like it can choose to work elsewhere, in my opinion. So, the way I see it is that either way, someone is going to have their rights limited. And that is why I can't say I'm either for or against it.

If some one wants to get married they should be able too, this is America. If you don't want to get married, you have the right not to.
And it would make for more two parent families, more children adopted. win win

    I strongly support it.

You don't have to be female to support the rights of women, You do not have to be black to support the rights of African-Americans, you do not have to be gay to support the rights of gays.

First they came for the communists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

    Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

NO HIDING THEIR NATURAL GENDERS (if transvestite). [Dishonest]

I support gay marriage. This is because it does me no harm if a gay couple wants to marry. Why would I oppose it? It harms me not!

I support it completely. Marriage is the the union of two people who really love each other; no matter what their differences might be. If you really love someone, even if they're the same sex, then I say it's okay to get married. Plus, I think I'm in love with a girl, and I don't want to live in a world where when I'm older and if we end up together, I can't get married to her.

Marriage is just a word that men and women call the union they had. I belive that same sex partners need to come up with a word just for the union between them. Like unmonoism, which can mean oneness of two of the same..

As long as they dont have any kids....

    (Thats a joke) heh heh

What Im not neutral on is monogamy. After 3 marriages and several failed heartbreaking relationships, I've decided I will no longer give my hard earned money to lawyers.

I hate lawyers and they will never, ever again have the possibility of taking anything from me again. NEVER AGAIN
