Is the iPhone a little too small for your taste? Maybe the iPad is just a bit too big? Have no fear, Apple's got you covered. Business Insider reports that an iPad Mini could be on the way -- and soon. It's just a rumor for now, and it's been circulating for months, but this time the sources are apparently more credible. The iPad Mini would have a 7.85" screen compared to the iPhone's 3.5" and the iPad's 9.7".

Rumor has it that the Mini is slated to be released as early as this fall, and is be expected to fall in the $200-$250 price range. That's considerably less than expected, and about the same price as the iPhone 4S. It's also expected to have the same pixel dimensions as the iPad, which means the display will be comparable to the 4S retina display. Are you interested in the iPad Mini yet?

Ummm... there are these new gadgets called "Reading Glasses". They're a steal at 5 to 10 bucks and they work Grrrreat! I use them all the time with my Macbook when reading certain small print in a particular article that isn't zoom-able..

I'm well beyond reading glasses at this time ..
Bilateral Retinal Detachment, Lattice Degeneration and Cataracts .. (amongst other problems) ..
I'm now blind .. and the iPad doesn't have near the same level of support as other platforms for those of us who are vision impaired ..

(hope that you can get some help with maintaining your health with diabetes .. my Aunts all had diabetes .. and suffered a wide swath of health problems because of it).

Apple are control freaks, pay more for less freedom .... it doesn't make sense. They make so much profit but they don't want to lower prices because they know there's enough people out there that belong to the "Church of Apple".

A little bit, but I already have an Android mini tablet. I think it is the right size, though. Phones are too small for my eyesight and why buy a bigger tablet when you could get a netbook?

The iPad is as small as it ever needs to be. People who own apple products know why they're worth such a premium price. Apple's products are indispensable. The biggest difference to me between android OS stuff and iOS stuff is in the quality of the apps. Apple has FAR more noteworthy and useable apps.

I can't wait to buy the latest jamming device and tell people what a bunch of idiots they are in that they cannot go out in public anymore without one of these new pieces of crap. People are always on these things while ignoring the real people beside them in the real world. Why not instead enjoy G-d's gift of nature (the outdoors)? Nature is good for your health whereas a wireless computer is very bad for your health. The best things in life are natural, not man made.

Me too! Apple makes beautiful machines that are well worth the price. Why anyone would spend their $$$ on an infected prone PC when they could have a superior machine for a few bucks more is beyond me. It seems like there is a whole lotta Green Apple envy on this thread. --- Heck! The customer service ALONE is worth the few extra bucks you might have to pay.
