Is the iPhone a little too small for your taste? Maybe the iPad is just a bit too big? Have no fear, Apple's got you covered. Business Insider reports that an iPad Mini could be on the way -- and soon. It's just a rumor for now, and it's been circulating for months, but this time the sources are apparently more credible. The iPad Mini would have a 7.85" screen compared to the iPhone's 3.5" and the iPad's 9.7".

Rumor has it that the Mini is slated to be released as early as this fall, and is be expected to fall in the $200-$250 price range. That's considerably less than expected, and about the same price as the iPhone 4S. It's also expected to have the same pixel dimensions as the iPad, which means the display will be comparable to the 4S retina display. Are you interested in the iPad Mini yet?

I'm interested in an Ipad that will last for the rest of my life. But unfortunately that won't happen because we live in a time era where companies make products that last 5-10 years and then you have to spend hundreds of dollars on a product that's slightly improved.

No. I have android which works great and doesn't come out with a new slightly improved, bug/glitch ridden model every year. I have no need for a tablet, no need for an apple product.

The iPad is too large. I have a 7" android tablet, I bought it because it fits in the inside pocket of my jacket. It's a good size, similar to a paperback, so an iPad of that size would be great.

The Goldilocks dilemma: The iPhone too small? The iPad too big? The iPad Mini just right? Probably not. And I'm not going to buy another GD gadget. I'm pretty gadgetted up right now and I will, and must, stick with what I have, if I want to buy food and pay my bills. I'm fine, thank you.

I wish more manufacturers would release portable devices with five-inch screen sizes. Anything below 4.5" is too small, and anything between 5.5" and 10" is too big to be a phone, and too small to be a tablet.

What the hell good would a 7.85" screen do? How does that have any advantage over either a phone or a tablet?

Besides, I would never buy a new Apple product, anyway. Until a few years ago, they were a great company, but then something (read: Intel Macs and the iPhone) happened, and their executives turned from humans into money-sucking demon leeches.
