Are you happy with the results of the 2008 election?

I was one of the first 100,000 who supported/donated to Obama, I stood on street corners and canvased areas around my home to get this man elected. I am a retired AF officer, retired in '07 after 28 yrs of honorable service. Bush and the GOP have taken us to places and done things unconscionable (sp?). Their actions since the 9-11 strike didn't help us, they hurt us. Oh, we had to do something but hindsight is showing many what a few of us knew, that we should have not invaded Iraqi, we should have continued the fight against the Taliban, we should have done it more smartly, using less military might but using it smartly - and never thinking it's going to be a "cake walk."

I believe Obama can change many of these wounds Bush and the GOP inflicted on our nation and we will be safer here and abroad. And I hope and pray that the GOP doesn't undermine his administration. They need to be a good team mate.

We failed as a nation to elect someone who cares about our nation. Instead, half of this country bought into hype and rhetoric and sold us out to a black theology, zealotous, radical islamist and we will now begin the descent into the apocalypse. I am ashamed and terrified.

The Senate Majority.
The House Majority.
And the Presidency.

I have never seen this beofre for dems. Bush had it for his term (except the 2 years of the house) and look how he totally wrecked everything from our world reputation, our secuirty, our economy and our civil rights.

It will take 2 uyears just to get bakc to where we were before he came! But then we can start rebuilding.
