Be Gone this is United States of America, not North American Union, and not United Nations, the laws the country of USA is governed by are Constitutional Freedoms, the laws the United Nations are governed by, President Obama had to write executive orders, in the idealogy of considering himself GOD, but he is only the POTUS biggest mistake America has ever made when electing a President. Obama has to go, the Executive Orders too, not to mention replace the Constitution. He cannot alter the original Constitution, only his printed version. Congress passed a law in I believe 1948 prohibiting the permission of the US Govt to obtain the original Constitutional Document, now if they passed it over unwillingly, it is my best advice that you seek an old copy of the document, as to restore the United States of America to its original state, before Unconstitutional demands made by marxist leaders

The sooner we tell the United Nations to shove it, the better for America !
Matter of fact we should tell the rest of the world they are on their own from now on, no more foreign aid to nations who hate America, let them go back to the third world nations they once were and let their governments abuse them.
America should put all that foreign aid into defense systems to protect America from invasions.

They represent many countries in the world and regardless where the UN headquarters is located the US will be a representative in the UN. They have been located in NYC for many decades and there is no need for them to move.

Most Americans see the UN as an albatross - they are anti-American, anti-Israel, and costry taxpayers $M's each year. The UN is wanting to govern the world, yet they are about as corrupt as they come - IMO, if 'they' want to have a UN, let 'em do in some other country, and let that country pick up the tab.

Yes, it is an opinion, but reading the posts on this question pretty much backs my opinion............I'm not saying your's is wrong, just that for most American's is different. And, yeah, unfortunately, the US will stay a member, and pretty much have to in order to counteract the radical agenda of so many UN member countries.

The UN is a world organization that has a members that try to create unity between nations. No nation is dictated too,but nations are not allowed,nor should be allowed to do whatever they please if it affects other nations.The world,with the advent of media and the internet has become more smaller and international events effect all countries.

BS. The UN has tried to dictate MANY things and tried to back it up with sanctions. Read ! I'm sure you will find the truth. They pressured the US out of Iraq in early 90s. Before finding Bin Laden. Whether people like it or not, the UN is here to stay and Congress will never vote to withdraw. That is not to say the UN could not use some reform.

The US is not a turtle that can hide under a shell pretending the rest of the world doesn't exist and the UN for all its false does give us a voice. Many international treaties that were important to the US, we're establsihed in the UN. Whether we like it or not, this is the world we live in. We can either engage it proactively or wait until it is forced upon us.
