The best place for guns is in the hands of good citizens... If anything it is the governments domestic police forces powers and guns that should be severely limited.

Criminals and government are the only serious threats to a civil society and thanks to the governments crazy lawmaking both gangs have way too much money, power and guns today.

I am for gun control! I am tired of good people getting shot by criminals who get their guns from Holder and our Government! I think it is time for the people to take back control. They give guns to criminal’s and arm the local police with more guns then most country’s military and then they want to take guns from law bidding citizens. They want to give control of our weapon laws to the UN. I say come get mine UN and bring Hillary with you.

It simply doesn't work. These laws do not control criminals who, by definition, are persons who do not obey the law. Only law abiding citizens comply with restrictive gun laws, which leaves them at the mercy of society's predators. People have an inherent right to defend themselves and, as the saying goes, "when seconds count, the police are only minutes away".

The only gun control I am for is how well you control your gun. Everyone should have guns for personal protection and military style automatic weapons for protection of the country, the Swiss style.

The 2nd Amendment guarantees that Americans have the right to own and bear arms. "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." It is specifically aimed at the Federal Government. The Federal government may NOT infringe on this right!
