+3A common sense party is going to have to live in a world without lobbyists and special interests. A common sense party is going to have to be able to level with the American people and tell them things they may not want to hear. A common sense party will have to actually make sense.

But anything that creates power in someone, or the wrong person rather... even the PTA, can become a crazy nightmare of power trips and stupidity. Add in greed and not much can be accomplished. Politicians will never go that way because they know that most people that follow a party ideology and nothing else tend to be nothing but sheep. They will listen to anything a Republican or Democrat have to say as truth and how its the way things should be. They vote based on a cartoon of a donkey or elephant. Nothing else, nothing else matters. As easy as it is for some people, the vast majority of people lack the brainpower to really digest the principles of common sense. Those are the ones that will yell the loudest (and tend to be way off on said topic) or be the first to throw out a derogatory name.reply
