Are you disgusted that when given the right to vote, Egypt freely elected a member of the Muslim Brotherhood?

If the election was fairly conducted, then the Egyptian people have the right to elect anyone they want. That's what free elections mean. The idea that democracy should be supported only if they make the choices WE want them to take is contrary to the very notion of free choice. I'm sure the rest of the world was horrified when the Supreme Court decided to throw out the results of the 2000 election and install George Bush as President (and of course Bush proved all of their fears justified), but I doubt any American would have supported a European invasion to depose Bush and restore the actual elected leader of the country.

I think that being disgusted should be based on demonstrably negative events. Egypt's new President does indeed have a history of frightening stances on many issues, but as of now, he's been behaving far differently than his past stances indicated he might. Until he actually behaves badly, I'll defer to the will of the Egyptian people.

Yes I am disgusted with their choice. BUT, it was their choice to make. We as a people like to tout our support of democratically freely elected governments and then get all twisted out of shape when the choice other people make dose not suit our flavor of the month.

It is there government. Why do we as Americans feel that we need to be able to influence every election in the known world? WE put Mubarak in power and see what he did to his people. It is their nation, their election, and their lives. We do not have a say in it whatsoever.

The British thought those people over in America were crazy when they ousted
the Redcoats and elected General George Washington to an office called "President".
We have reminded them, for more than 200 years, that our "Democratic Republic" allows us to elect whomever we please.

The Pentagon and Republican Party operatives, particularly Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and Connie Rice, spread the story for years that Dictatorships and rogue regimes in the Mideast would fall like "a house of dominoes" if one were toppled, and populations would fill the streets shouting "Democracy now, Democracy now". We saw how that didn't happen in Iraq or Afghanistan, although the "toppling" seems to be working with the encouragement of our embedded operatives and political support. What more could we ask for?

The Egyptian people went to the polls in what appeared to be a very open and fairly fought election and voted their choice of candidates. That is what Democracy is all about, is it not? We didn't have a horse in that race so we can't commence another bitching about the results. At another time we might be able to bring back a puppet Dictator under our control, but not this year. Suck it up,. Egypt is now a Democratic society as we planned.

That is the price of democracy. Some in this nation were disgusted when Bush was elected- some in this nation were disgusted when Obama was elected. But the nation survives.

Look.....what did we expect? I know I certainly expected nothing less. We've been stupid all along with this...we've expended taxpayer dollars to topple these people only to see the Muslim Brotherhood slide in on our coattails once we've completed all the heavy lifting. Intelligent or their part.....extremely ignorant on ours. Leadership from Washington we can do without.

The only good thing I can see about this situation is that the military, so far, has held on to the power in Egypt and has made that presidency a figurehead only. That guy, Morsi, is educated at USC and has American children, which seems to me to indicate, he'll cooperate with the US.

It's all part of the plan.

    plan

Arbeh = Arab = LOCUST ARMY (ARAB SPRING, SWARMING).

    Luke 21:20-22
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

    Agreed.

However, the desolation is actually speaking about the DESOLATOR though (Mark 13:14). Mistranslated, it's supposed to read as "DESOLATOR", and HE will be standing in the place HE ought not. That segment of scripture posted originally is spiritually speaking here - of antichrist (Anti in the Greek meaning literally 'instead of/in the place of' Christ; the false christ, satan). Standing in Jerusalem proclaiming himself to be 'christ', but is not and IS satan himself to deceive the WHOLE WORLD (that the is 'christ'). satan is ALSO this 12th Imam that the Muslims are waiting for {one of satan's many names is also DEATH - murderer of souls}, and whom the Jews are waiting for also (both of them rejecting the cornerstone, which is to say Christ when he was Immanuel or God With Us). Hard as that may be to believe, that's exactly the way it is. And the LOCUST ARMY (Arbeh/Arabians) are preparing the way for him at this time (a LOT of worldly leaders {kings} being plucked up from power over there lately).

A wise Christian knows that satan comes at the 6-6-6 and the TRUE Christ at the 7-7-7 (that being in reference to the Seals, Trumps and Vials). This is why we are warned about THE antichrist, that we SHOULD NOT go to where people are claiming Christ is - because it is SATAN prete...

This is why we are warned about THE antichrist, that we SHOULD NOT go to where people are claiming Christ is - because it is SATAN pretending to be the True Christ (who WILL be coming after him, the one to which EVERY knee will bow when HE gets here, unlike with the fake).

    Matthew 24:23-26
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

So that's why I made that comment here. Now that Jerusalem is totally encompassed with armies (HOSTILES - Muslims), satan IS coming very, very, very soon to MAKE DESOLATE (lay waste - devastate), SOULS {through the great APOSTASY}.

I pray that Yah's Spirit of Wisdom blesses you. =)

If you look diseases these days, you will see that a majority of it is "created". Everything has gone off the charts since there has been a "pill" or "shot" for everything. That would also be a little god/man creation. Feel bad for the rats, anyone can be pushed to point these rats have experienced.

I think that the life-long brainwashing that Muslims go through in their home countries turns them into violent sadists for Mohammed, even in those that have it disguised with a thin veneer of civility.

When people have been part of a violent religion all of their lives, the only way to keep large numbers of them in check is through being dominated by a dictator. The dictator the Egyptian people had was a benign dictator, nothing like Sodom Hussein. They are in for far worse under the coming Islamic Theological Regime and they don't even know it.

That is sure; the voting populations cannot foresee the plans of their politicians, and illusions are too often created with advertisement. There are so many wrong informations and half truths. News are not always objective, and we can rarely see into the future. Unfortunately, many good intentions are distorted. I think that in most cases, we can't but hope and pray that things will turn out well.

Not to make an argument, but, we can do much more than "hope and pray". We can be diligent in our responsibilities as citizens to learn the facts about those things that affect our Government and our society. And we can try our best to intelligently avoid and ignore the demagogues and entertainers who would lead us into distorted "issues" and conflicts that harm the fabric of our society and prevent us from working together to make tomorrow a better world than today for all of us.
