Four years ago, my family ran two successful businesses that had been in existence for over 25 years, have over 100 employees, most of them making over $35/hour. Those businesses were the result of working 70-80 hours a week for most of our working life.
Today, both businesses are gone, we and our children have filed bankruptcy, and all those employees lost their jobs. we are losing our home that we built 40 years ago with our own hands and those of our friends.

Why? Because the government decided to "save" the banks from their own stupid mistakes and dumped the losses of the banks on us. Tim Geithner told National City Bank that if they wanted to be saved and get $7 billion in TARP money to be sold to PNC, they had to get out of all existing real estate and construction loans by any means possible. The banksters walked onto the project we were building, praised it as a great project and wonderful job, then said, but, we're going to shut it down "for our own reasons."
The courts have said that banks acted in bad faith and without cause, but they "had the right to do so." The lawyers said that, if we had another $500,000 to spend, we could win against the bank on principle, but any judgment against the bank would have to be paid by the federal government(FDIC), and we woul...

The lawyers said that, if we had another $500,000 to spend, we could win against the bank on principle, but any judgment against the bank would have to be paid by the federal government(FDIC), and we would never see any money.

We are just one of the many families who were "collateral damage" to the Obama administration's handing out of money to the banks. The idiot economists like Geithner, et al, care nothing for the little fish they destroyed, the jobs they destroyed across the nation. At the time, they claimed that there was too much building going on, that they were "cooling" the economy. Of the 8.3 million jobs destroyed by those actions, 22% were in construction, and many more indirectly in manufacturing, supply, services and even consumer goods were a direct result of those job losses.
Now, they are complaining that there is not enough building going on.
    Total idiots in government.

Gasoline prices are up, employment is down and Obamacare sucks and is raising medical costs the bottom line for me is the class warfare game he is playing not to mention that he has not lived up to any of his campaign promises other then continuing to blame Bush for almost everything and others for the rest.

Used the decline in the economy to find new micro economys like rebuilding wrecked cars for sale . Making repairs to houses in my area and undercutting established companys plus useing false alligations to hurt their base .

How could anyone be , You`re paying double for the same things you got for years ago, Gas , food , everything No higher wages because they`re having to pay more themselves to keep you employed from the company they didn`t make , BS This is the normal we have to look forward to under liberalism plan and simple , Either get rid of it or get use to it.

Yep. I have a higher salaried job, my 401k has dramatically recovered since the crash in 2008, and we're on a slow but steady positive trajectory overall with the economy - jobs being created every month, the GDP staying in positive territory, the stock market back to where it was - as opposed to 2008, when our trajectory was a steep nose-dive towards a potential full depression.

This is supposed to be a yes, as indicated below.

Obama equaled Bush's 8 year debt within 18 months.

    Drones are overhead.

American citizens have lost most of their Constitutional rights at the whim of Obama.

    American citizens may be assassinated.

I had more money, more gear, a girlfiend, a decent job, and was to move to Vegas with the rest of my family. It all came crashing down when I made a huge judgment error and drove drunk, receiving a DUI and totaling an otherwise decent vehicle. I guess that's how the Karma Cookie crumbles.
