Absolutely. I am better off In pretty much every way.
Just the same as I do not thank a president for my own success I will not condemn one for my personal failures. I know many people like to do that...

Like Dagon said below...I watch my credit and pay my bills like a machine. Me and wife got rid of one of our cars a couple years ago, so we have only one. I moved my office into my home in 2009 and business has been stellar since. No more gas/commute, no more rent.

2007-2008 taught me how to really minimize my overhead both at home and work. We were able to save a good amount of money and are moving down to Florida in early July to take advantage of a great buyers market on the Gulf coast. We bought an older beat up home in Philly and recently finished up an 8 year renovation (It takes a while doing stuff on weekends). We are planning to do the same thing down there...but a house near the sandy stuff. Hopefully by 2015. Winters in FL and summers in Philly.

So how are you worse off? Going from a 30K job to unemployment? Living on food stamps?

Everything has risen in price especially medical , food ,gasoline --no raise for the last 4 years . Medical insurance premuims have gone up due to Obamacare and will continue to get worse . I've lost 40 % of my net worth --I'm back to 1990 level . Can't afford a new car --My car is 10 years old now . I've taken a second job to make ends meet. Plus living in Calif . under Jerry Browns leadership has made it even worse .

T_M --you're assumptions are absolutely correct --I want to dump this loser Obama he 's bad for America -- We will not withstand another 4 years --and once America is gone no one will ever have any place to escape the the evils of the world !! We are the world's last best hope --But with Obama the world now hates us !!

Why do you pay for insurance? Don't you work? Perhaps you need actually work to get something in life?

40%, wow. That's probably as bad as it gets. I think many people hit that low at some point, but most have gained a good portion of that back. My investments dipped down 25%, but are back to about 12%.

Can't afford a car is Obama's fault? And not making enough money is Obama's fault? Perhaps you should vote democratic, they do more for the lower class than republicans.

Personal problem? I gave up my highly paid job to be with my kids, something I really wanted to do and something LOVE. The point is that I can afford not working for a few years. I don't need welfare. I even pay for yours.
