No I am not. 4 years ago I owned a business and I worked 70 to 80 hours a week. I was busy but made some money about 150k. Today I no longer have the business. I work part time on the internet for minimum wage. Last year I made 6k. I went from middle class to poor in those 4 years. I am lucky though I do not owe anything, But I still do not have anything either.

Our economy was in a death spiral when President Obama was sworn in. We were losing close to 700,000 jobs a month with no end in sight. People had lost trillions in home equity and in the stock market. People's retirement funds had been decimated.
We are now on the road to recovery. It is a slow recovery to be sure, but we are now headed in the right direction. President Obama deserves our votes.

The amount of time spent on our Farm's paper trail has doubled in the last 3.5 years. So has the number of trips required to the county USDA office.

Caused by government ordered mortgages stemming from Clinton's time which the Dems blocked all attempts to modify the program. FHA said the stuff was junk but ordered by Clinton's to accept them. Now what was suppose to help has hurt everyone especially those it was suppose to help.

Because you have a marketable skill and a good job. Many don't have that good job to go with their skills. The fuzzy math unemployment numbers do not count those who have given up looking for work, only new claims.

Oh you mean be thankful.. oh well I am very thankful and appreciate everything I have.. as for the 'fuzzy math' I dont agree.
Thing have been looking up for the area I live in and the people I know.
I think at this point anyone whose using the economy sucks excuses are scapegoating the president for their failure... I'm doing pretty good!

Four years ago, Shrub was in office. My electricity bill has gone down, gas is down from Shrub's highest, my neighbor is working and I'm making more money. The more important question to ask is, where do you want to be four years from now? With the Willard/Ryan austerity budget, the U.S. will collapse like Europe. We will not only be put back into a recession, but we will experience another great depression. I'd choose President Obama any day.

The country as a whole is more divided, more in debt because of bush's policies. Now we have Obama and it has gotten much worse. His spending is out of control, and he is dividing us further.

Is he dividing us ? or is it the right wing nut jobs who are doing everything they can to drive a wedge between him and "UHMERIKA"? Seriously, I know who is dividing us, do you?

My 403b account had nose-dived & I lost roughly 75% of what was in it. While I haven't gained back 100% of what I lost I am not far from it.
