Kenny 2012/09/04 01:44:20No+36My business has shrunk because people have less money to spend. Look around at all the retail businesses that are no longer in business. Our economy is in the toilet, everything costs much more, many people have lost their homes, health care has almost doubled in cost, and I could go on and on. We are in terrible shape with no relief in sight unless we make a large change soon.

I have two cars, but that's because my dad passed away, and both of them have seen better days (23 year old truck - mine, 17 year old coupe - dad's).
I got rehired at my old job for the third time, but am still paying down bills from before that. Luckily, my employer needs me more than I need my employer and it gives me some bargaining power, but most businesses/owners/managers these days have you by the "shorthairs" because they know it's hard out there. I had two not-so-good experiences in between, and left because that's no way to live or work. I see so many people taking crap from jobs like that because they're discouraged and don't think there IS anything else out there, or I see people abused by employers because the employers feel like they have the "upper hand" and can get away with it.
More jobs need to be created so that doesn't keep happening to people. Overtaxing and over-regulating businesses only hurts the economy - and people.
Is it better? My LIFE may be (my boyfriend is great and we have a good life together, with all our kids and my nephew here), but I am broker...and pissed, so NO!
Or better yet, how about here:
