+36My business has shrunk because people have less money to spend. Look around at all the retail businesses that are no longer in business. Our economy is in the toilet, everything costs much more, many people have lost their homes, health care has almost doubled in cost, and I could go on and on. We are in terrible shape with no relief in sight unless we make a large change soon.

Reagan's trickle down economics is like feeding oats to a horse and hoping that a few oats will come out the other end to feed the crows. It has been 35 years, where's the trickle down?
what part of Obama's 6 trillion $$$ has benefited America the most? If that is too difficult, how about explaining the 8.1% unemployment?!?!?!? He said in his own words, If I don't lower the unemployment rate below 8%, I will be a one term President.

Thousands of teachers, public works employees, police, fireman have been layed off due the the fact that Republicans will do anything to take back the White House. There has been 29 straight months of job growth in the private sector. Between pirate equity companies like Romney.'s Bain company that out source jobs over seas and government job cuts all as a result of republican congressional efforts and their Obstructionism, is why Umemployment is 8.2 percent.

In Oct. 2011 republicans blocked a bill introduced by Obama that would have put 2 million people to work on our infrastructure, a bill with tax incentives that would have help employers and veterans. Tax credits would have been available to businesses that hired vets. Another bill blocked by Republicans to help small businesses was a break this year on equipment depreciation. As an incentive to help stimulate manufacturing, if a business would purchase new equipment, this year, including cars, trucks, heavy equipment, any purchase over $500 then the business could depreciate that purchase 100 percent instead of the usual 5 year scale. This would not only had helped small business owners but would have helped create jobs. Your Republican friends are so self centered and so determined to take back the White House, they are willing to crash the economy. It's the "I got mine and screw you too." position. They worship their goddess sociopath, Ayn Rand.
I also believe my retirement has gone back up so is higher than it was four years ago.
So the possibility about the house aside, I'm making more money and paying less in taxes. The house and our cars are more energy efficient. I'm in much better health.
I also don't spend my evenings worrying that we're about to slide into another great depression.

In the past four years both my wife and I have received promotions. We also play a little less in taxes. These are facts. Some of our costs have gone up but SOME have gone down. Overall my family is better off. That is just a fact. If you're going to dispute the validity of that fact to the bigger picture that is a reasonable argument. On the other-hand if you are going to dispute a fact about me (then claim "nobody" believes me and that ANYONE who says the same MUST be lying) then you just sound like an idiot.
Since I'm obviously such a big dumb liberal, please help me. How SHOULD I have responded. Would a lie be the good conservative thing to do.
