remember prohibition it still doesnt work

Seriously... doesnt anyone learn from history? Every time a drug is criminalized it just boosts the price, violent crime, corruption of politicians and police, and even the use of drugs. Its not even moral, because we treat people in need of medical assistance as criminals.

Besides, more people die from legal FDA approved drugs than marijuana. Over 100,000 severe adverse reaction deaths every year. Marijuana is at 0. If you want to tackle the real drug problem, tackle the FDA.

You can end the prohibition all you want. All it accomplishes that Marijuana is legal but your employer and their insurance companies can still make you take drug tests. If you do not pass you lose your job.

while i don't use it, its long been my opinion that marijuana and prostitution should both be legalized. the reason is there is no way you can prohibit people from engaging in either act. instead of wasting resource outlawing it education people about it and make rake in some tax revenue in the process.

It has been openly in use since I was a teen..maybe before that! So, really, why not legalize pot, tax it, and free up the Prisons for the Pedophiles, the cocaine and heroine dealers, murderers..all those dangerous people. If it is legal, nobody will be FORCED to smoke it.

The fact that Marijuana is illegal is ridiculous to begin with. Its illegal because of the many uses it has against big companies and how much cheaper it would be sold for. Big business will be the end of the country out sourcing all the jobs and finding ways to cut more employees to save a penny it will destroy us.
The companies need to look for more american citizen friendly ways to do things so we can pump money into our society and get us back in the game.

It shouldn't be limited to medicinal only though. It should have never been illegal in the first place, only made so because of the financial implications it had at the time, and to this day. The Exclusion of competition frustrates me, but for them to list it on the level of heroin? Despicable. Reverse the ruling already, enough of the lies

I was in favor, but I've seen how corrupt the system has become in California- pot growers & sellers making millions, people inventing medical reasons to have a dope card...too many unintended consequences

Wow what a disrespectful uninformed thing to say. But that is really not as important as my question for you. If that is your reason for not supporting the legalizing of marijuana. Can you please explain how keeping it illegal has stopped anyone from using it? The truth is anyone who wants to smoke it can find it. And also I would rather have a pot head by my side then someone abusing the prescription medicine that they legally obtained or. the alcoholic that has to drink in the morning before they go to work just to stop the shakes! But you have the right to your uneducated opinion. Peace love and happiness to you starzabove : )

Alcohol is a much more dangerous substance, and it's legal.
