COMMENTS: Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world, had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What the hell happened?
"That thieving s.o.b. needs to stop spending the nation's money like it's a wallet he found in the street!..."
Actually, it seems I picked the wrong answer, but whatever. It's not quite so simple.
"Today I'm pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office." (Spoken at the opening of the fiscal responsibility summit on Feb. 23, 2009.)
"We will launch a sweeping effort to root out waste, inefficiency and unnecessary spending in our government, and every American will be able to see how and where we spend taxpayer dollars by going to a new website called recovery.gov." (Spoken in a speech Jan. 28, 2009.)
"There is no doubt that we've been living beyond our means, and we're going to have to make some adjustments. Now, what I've done throughout this campaign is to propose a net spending cut." (Spoken during a presidential debate Oct. 15, 2008.)
"Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase -- not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes." (Spoken in September 2008 at a town hall meeting in Dover, N.H.)
people want to re-elect President Obama? Why?

people want to re-elect President Obama? Why?
Yet, when R's bring up repeal of obamacare (which would actually do the country some good) they say it is a waste of time - clearly a double standard.
if that would help. When was the last debate about reduced spending in the House?
Aboout the time most of you were in diapers.
The Bumbler-in-Chief has proven himself to be in way over his head. Now it's time to get an adult back into the White House to clean up the mess that the child was was made.
Do you think Obama might have been cutting his Economics classes in college to go blow a doobie? Hmmmmm. He is an economic dope
Hey, don't forget: All of Obama's economic theories work great on a college chalkboard.
take the greatest, freeist, and most prosperous free market capitalist nation in the history of the planet; a nation that has fed the world, brought tremendous scientific, medical, and technological advances for the betterment of mankind, and elect a communist as it's president.
or some similar "Christian" college?
While Europeans might enjoy a higher standard of living in some countries, there is a handful of Europeans paying the tax bill and resenting the hell out of it.
We are overtaxed when illegal aliens have a higher standard of living than some American Citizens in their own country. Last year, most of my daughter's best buddies were ESL students, mostly illegals from Mexico. She could not understand why we said "no" to free lunch and breakfast for her while her friends had it. I told her that we would much rather pack them up and send them back to Mexico.
We are overtaxed when people making just above minimum wage are paying taxes to provide "free" cell phones to people on welfare. Oh yes, my daughter's friends all have the modern up to date phones with all of the apps while my wife and I have voice phones and texting, nothing else. Yes, I resent that my taxes provide that for them when I cannot afford such amenities myself.
We need to have a big roundup of illegal aliens and send them back. We also need to clean up our welfare rolls of any able bodied people who refuse to work but milk the system.
And don't forget to buld the wall, 30 feet into the ground, 20 feet thick at the base and 80 feet high.
We have record breaking deficits.
We have record breaking home and business bankruptcies.
We haven't seen this kind of poverty level in well over 50 years.
We have over 25 million Americans without a job.
While the mainstream does not show the reality of the fact
