Yes, but I could sure use a job that had good strong union backing. I was one of the ones caught up in the great layoff in 2008, and I haven't had a decent job since, and it's getting too late to ever get one. I'm not getting any darn younger here. Thank you Mr. Bush AND Mr. Obama.
No more or less than any other "gang" of people grouping together to protect their mutual interests - which of course would include political parties don't you think?
It really depends on the Union. Some unions are violence prone and make a point of it. SEIU is one of them. Most of them that have a political agenda are. Others are bread and butter orientated and truly serve the members.
A large crowd of people, esp. one that is disorderly and intent on causing trouble or violence.
So yes they are.
