Connor, I needed a "Both" option! They are DEFINITELY ignorant AND that stupid! But to give them some kind of credit, it is REALLY a feat to be both ignorant and that stupid at the same time :) For rational folks it is virtually impossible.

There is a difference between a Certificate of Live Birth and a Certification of Live Birth.
Did you know this??

A Certificate of Live Birth has the name of the Certifier (witness) to your birth and is the long form of a birth certificate. Most importantly, the witnesses to your birth 'I certify that the stated information concerning this child is true to the best of my knowledge and belief' signed by the Certifier (the person who witnessed your birth). This is the source document of your birth.

A Certification of Live Birth, a short abstract version of a birth certificate, does not include the hospital name, or the fact that there was a witness to validate the birth. This is not a source document of your birth.

What the birthers want to see is a 'true and correct' copy of the record. The source document. Which has reference to a specific object or instance.

There were witnesses, there was even a panel in the Newspaper (albeit small) saying that Obama was born in Hawaii in the hospital...

The announcement in the News paper does not say Obama was born in a Hawaii hospital, it does not even give a name. Is a newspaper a certified witness to a birth? Were they there in the room? Did they sign to say that they witnessed the birth?

I am just wondering if a news paper is good enough evidence.

Even though the Supreme Court has made bad rulings when it comes to opinions (ex, separate but equal) there is no disputing facts. if the SCOTUS says he is a citizen, he's a citizen, so get over it!

I don't agree nor disagree with the those who claim Obama is not natural born simply due to the fact that never have all the pertinent documents been revealed. However I am better than posting biased polls designed to simply attack those with whom I disagree. I personally though you were as well.

I do attack those because it has been proven that he is a natural born certicen. Have you not seen the pictures of his birth certificate? I bet you didn't see the birth certificate of George Bush, or Clinton, yet you still believed they were natural born citizens.

This entire dialog I have been speaking of the long form birth certificate and you have yet to attempt to address that in any way whatsoever.
A long form birth certificate is far different than the computer generated copies which are then motorized such as the ones you linked here.
The long form is the BC actually signed by the attending physician. Everyone who has a BC has one.

Secondly, using your logic, seeing as how I lived in Indiana at one point in my life, I could go there and get a copy of my BC? In what universe does that make sense?
