Are the English just plain stupid?

Stupid and arrogant for sure. Long before Romney went to the Olympics they had to call out the military chaps for security because they could not find anyone qualified to secure a dumpster in London. When Romney brings up the same issue they cry like babies.

Having been to London three times all I can say is - what a slum. You can't walk anywhere without being on camera.

And from what I have seen from the British Military - security guards are the perfect job for them.

Yep, its true...the security they originally ordered was no where near enough but the English love their nasty insulting page full rag tabloid headlines. I think it was mostly to sell papers.

So true, and one of the security guards said he could not spot or detect a bomb, much less a suspicious package.

i doubt they as pissed as the sensationislistic tabloid headlines would have you believe. Romney was asked a question and he answered it. it was no secret that they had not originally provided proper security. those rag papers love a nasty headline.

mwg....go easy on our mates over the pond, most of them there are wondering themselves what the fuss is all about. There's more of an uproar here in the US than over in Britain.
