Are the disappointing job numbers because of President Obama's policies or GOP obstruction?

The GOP may have obstructed the President, but I expect the President to find ways to deal with that. As I see it, the problem we have is that our Mr. Obama does not have the experience to deal with congress in a way to enact policies that will result in improved job numbers.

After all, if the President could ram though health care, he must be able to get a reasonable jobs package through.

The last 40 years have seen us go from a production based economy and a creditor nation to a consumer based economy and a debtor nation. The corporate world and the wealthy couldn't be happy with the prosperity they enjoyed. They had to push for more profit by shipping factories and jobs overseas, breaking unions and gaming the already risky financial sector and markets. The populace is held hostage by extremists who know nothing about economics, but who have an ideological commitment to special interests which keep their campaign coffers full.

Have you noticed who fights hardest to keep the tax cuts that help the wealthiest and the corporations? Have you noticed who is trying to close the tax loop holes? Enough said.

With the only way to get economy going is to lower taxes "of the Rich" as Reagan and Kennedy did and Obummer talked about as a Senator when he showed up. Why in the hell would he do the exact opposite now???? other than politics and he's an Idiot.

A no-brainer. Businesses operate where the atmosphere is suitable. Heavy handed regs and high taxes are not business friendly. Hateful talk about them is not business friendly. Striking and demanding unions are not business friendly. Need I say more? Has anyone noticed any of those things around here?

By dragging their feet and making the defeat of the Dems their first priority instead of helping America, they set the business community up to do what it does best. Wait! Pure and simple!
