    Really?

Is it untrue then that he was poor lad from the Australian outback . . .earned a prestigious scholarship to Cambridge . . . and developed a successful law practice before he went into politics?

Obama agreed to 4 trillion in cuts - but the Republicans walked away from that grand bargain. Furthermore, team Romney is planning to serve up 4 trillion in TAX BREAKS FOR BILLIONAIRES while refusing to specify HOW it will be paid for. Conservatives do it all the time when they control government. They spend like sailors in a Bangkok whore house, tear the place apart, walk out in a drunken stupor, leave the democrats with the TAB --- and explain to to the entire country how fiscally reckless and devoid of morality the liberals are - just as the democrats pay mama-san for all of the damages. A SIMPLE study in American economics prove that UNDER LIBERAL CONTROL, the MIDDLE CLASS ALWAYS FARES BETTER and middle class prosperity always leads to NATIONAL prosperity. Whereas the backwards thinking Republicans ALWAYS push forth the notion that the middle class is free-loading off society [Remember Romney's 47% remark?] and that only by rewarding the already wealthy can our nation prosper. And their sh*t NEVER works. Most of America is ON to this conservative SCAM - and this is why Obama is getting his second term.

I would say the biggest threat to our economy is everyones refusal to work together to solve this problem. I believe there is a solution somewhere between both sides extreme stands

Ya know Lee(if I may) I thought about it and thought about it again and I cant see it.I am sooo tired of the fighting that I begin to think it has to be both of their fault but I cant honestly support that argument.we need comprimise and I see the democrats have done so and I cant see any movement from the Republicans from their stand in the beginning.there is no way this is going to work without a little give from the congress.I stand corrected

The Tea Party Congress threatened NOT to raise the debt limit, thereby implying the US might default, which in turn caused Standard and Poors to downgrade our debt rating.

The Tea Party's willingness to damage this nation for political gain is Extreme behavior.

Really? Who said the following, while threatening not to raise the debt ceiling?

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a Sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. ...Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here'. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and Grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

Freshman Senator Barack Obama said that in 2006 as a protest against GW's mismanagement of our debt. Let's not forget that the National Debt more than DOUBLED during the GW Bush administration.

However, the coordinated effort on the part of Tea Partiers to cast doubt on the honor and credibility of the United States went far beyond a token protest.

It actually resulted in damaging this nation's debt rating.

My Congressman, Representative Boehner, did in fact pass a budget. It is the democrat controlled Senate that is holding it up.

Surely you can't be so stupid as to not know this.

The 0bama proposed a budget, it was unanimously voted down, are you going to blame that on the Republicans as well?

    Rusty is lying anyway.

The Dems did not vote against Obama's budget.

They voted against "a caricature of the President's budget" presented by the Republicans.

    LIAR

The Dems did not vote against Obama's 2012 budget.

They voted against a Summary of that budget written up by Republicans and falsely touted to be Obama's budget by lying Republicans. That budget was presented by Republican Jeff Sessions, not by the Obama camp.

"Just as they did in March in the House of Representatives, Republicans forced a vote on a bill that was supposed to resemble the president's budget, but wasn't actually the president's budget. A Republican Senator submitted it, and called for the vote."

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com...

"'As House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi succinctly explained at the time, 'It was a caricature of the president's budget, so we voted against it.'"

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politic...

Don't you Right Wing Trash ever quit lying?

You lie to yourselves, and you lie to each other . . . And then you're Amazed when sensible people recognize your lies as lies.
