Aren't they always, it's called Slight of Hand, a Red Herring, etc. etc. etc. They aren't starting a culture war, they've never stopped waging it since the Civil Rights era flipped the Democratic Brand to the Left and The Republican Brand over the edge of Sanity.

They are continuing in haste a bolder and less cautious dog whistle riddled version of a culture war because they don't want America to be America, they want it to be the South circa pre-civil war era. Period.

Ron Paul is very sound with his economic views. Of course when he starts talking about economics it sounds like a foreign language to most. Or when he talks about getting rid of useless government departments the media loves to play off that.

This whole "war on women" was a creation of the white house to distract people from the economic miracle of Obama. Not to mention Michelle Obama is the one telling people what they can and can not eat!

The republican record on the economy is alot better than the democrats. Considering that SO much of our economic woes come from Obama. We can't drill for oil. No pipeline. OBAMACARE. Not to mention ALL the taxes, regulations, and overspending! And lets not forget WHY we are in this mess! Barney Frank and Chris Dodd!!

Well, in this most recent round, it's been gays who are oppressed, by being denied the right to marry; and until a little over a year ago, to serve in the military. In previous rounds, it was the rights of black people to ride in the front of the bus; of a woman to decide for her DAMN self, whether or not to have a baby; or to vote, or to marry a person of a different race.
I suppose I should clarify, that it is CONSERVATIVES, and not necessarily REPUBLICANS who are the agents of culture war. The parties have switched sides a few times in our history. Currently the GOP IS the Conservative party, but that was not always the case.

How about presenting some evidence they are starting a culture war at all instead of presenting a question that presents it as a foregone conclusion with only the reasoning in question? So far the media has done more to start a culture war (from both sides) than any political party. Besides, why does everything have to be a 'war' with you people?

Republicans got elected in 2010 by promising that job-creation would be their #1 priority, so show me ONE bill that passed in the first 2 months of this congress.
