Are "Progressive" left-wingers unable to see it when what they do is exactly what they accuse of right-wingers?

Oh, they see it. That's why they project. It's their way of diverting attention from themselves to us. Alinsky would be proud of them. Except for the fact that the only ones they're fooling are themselves.

I try to read both sides of issues. I read the New York Times, I read the Wall Street Journal because I know the truth is somewhere in between. I think many people who are not entrenched in their political ideology do this. But, when the media is controlled by and issues only liberal opinions and then reports them as facts. And most of the liberals I know are so shaky on their own views that they will not read or listen to anything that contradicts them even when they come from sources they would normally read.

When people are so extreme in their oppositional stance to another Political Ideology, one which is equally extreme, they lash out. Many times, I hear both sides of the aisle sound to be highly irrational..it happens when emotions run high.

Speaking strictly percentages, not absolutes, I see a significantly higher portion of left wing political hypocrites than I do right wing.

It's not just what they accuse of right-wingers, it's what the right wingers are actually doing. The Left Wing and the Right Wing are unknowingly contributing to America's decline by using the same heightened rhetoric and partisan brinkmanship.

Ron Paul supporters may actually be some of the worst; they over-react to every line and foam at the mouth on any dissenters to any issues. I believe the future of the Republican Party and indeed America needs to be the likes of Jon Huntsman, Chris Christie, Bob McDonnell and other people who are somewhere between Moderate and Conservative and offer a Center-Right vision for America.

In some instances and areas, yes. But overall no. Speaking percentages, for example, and not ignoring the RINO factor, when it came to the last time the Dream Act [trying to give illegals college at taxpayers expense], over 90% of the Dems voted "yes" on that scurrilous treachery attempt. Whereas, over 90% of the GOP voted "no" on it.

I don't believe folks on either side of the political spectrum are aware of the denial, ignorance, and arrogance that plagues the majority of people in this country. Of course, it is meant to be that way given the propaganda institutions we call schools and churches as well as the talking heads of the media and our government.

For instance, because I don't like Obama, surely I must be a fundamentalist fascist. Because I know that Romney is no less a shill than Obama, I must be a Commie liberal. Both sides prefer imagination and opinion to fact.

Until this dilemma is solved, we can expect to continue the century long derailment that has been plaguing our country.

Republican nominated doesn't equal Conservative...all too often Republican presidents were disappointed that their nominations turned progressive once on the Supremes. What's interesting is the LWingers get all bent out of shape discussing Nixon and he signed off on the LW domestic legislation and his supreme nominees were moderate, two were very progressive...

Exactly! Turncoats who failed to uphold the Constitution. Just one more example of the weakness of our political system that allows unethical lawyers to assume the feigned respectability of a jurist's robes.

"Your Honor" has no more honor in him or her than they did when they were selling their ethics to the highest bidder as a lawyer with no principles.

Your logic is beyond reason....which party and which political philosophy is against Roe V Wade?...give ya a hint...it ain't the Repubs and it ain't Conservativism...look beyond party labels and focus your "hate" on ideologies. Which party is for abortion? Which political philosophy is for no limitation on abortion? What political philosophy brought this damn case to the Supremes in the first place...it wasn't the Supremes, they just wait for cases to come their way...
