Are people angry with Susan Rice because she lied and mislead the American people or because she is a black woman?

though I'm sure that her supporters view lying and misleading to be virtues.

I don't like liars, so obviously I find politicians and their buds to be revolting. Colour has nothing to do with being a bag of poop.

Come on! She lied ;through her pearly white teeth. I knew she was lying when I heard her speak. I couldn't believe her cheek! And I knew we would find out later how much a lie she told.

We don't really know if she deliberately lied. But she certainly went public with a story that turned out to be a boatload of BS. If she wants to be Secretary of State, she has to help unravel the Benghazi coverup. Otherwise, how can we have a Secretary of State who starts the job with zero credibility world-wide?

Either she explains who asked her to go on all of those news programs with bogus talking points, or she owns the lie.

The important questions are: (1) WHY a coverup was necessary? and (2) WHO decided on a coverup strategy? I doubt Rice was anything more than a messenger who was sent out with a cover story. But until she explains everything she knows about this fiasco, her credibility is in the toilet.

It HAS to be because she lied. We elected a black man for President, so racism can't be the answer here. And people are just as mad at Hillary as they are at Rice. This is not racial. This is political. Obama simply couldn't stand the thought of his "nation building" becoming a public discussion point in terms of creating allies for Iran, which is in fact the truth. So Rice and Clinton simply lied to protect "His Holiness." It's the very reason Ambassador Stevens, two Navy Seals, and a Navy programmer were killed in Benghazi; military aid to the Benghazi mission center (consular building) would have created the (true) impression that toppling Qaddafi created an Islamic theocracy. So Obama simply let them die to protect his public image. And then when the you-know-what hit the fan, Obama used Gen. Petraeus as the fall guy merely because he told the truth (it was a premeditated terrorist attack) in his first deposition before Congress on the matter. Obama must have been stunned that Petraeus didn't lie like Rice and Clinton, and (probably) blackmailed Petraeus into resigning by raising the issue of the two extra-marital affairs, which are completely irrelevant to the issue at hand.

She only reported what the government under Obama wanted her to say. Blame them for misleading her. Being black has nothing to do with it. They accept Obama and he's black so that excuse doesn't hold water. Every thing is not racist. His election was not racist so why should anything else be?

She had the security clearance to the CIA report so reporting it was a video she chose to lie,or she was incompetent, So doesn't she have an obligation to check her testimony? So if she lied the question is for who?

I want the truth whatever that may be. If she was given those talking points going against every agenices information even days later, than who told her what to say. Through the testimony of heads of different intellgence agencies, we know the information was correctly given to the White House, so who changed it there?

The point here is that even when the truth came out,.. And it came from the same source she originally quoted,.. you have these "people" still trying to ride her drawls like she did something wrong.

No one is "disagreeing" with her,.. they are attacking her. Why? They won't say,.. so folk are saying it's because she's black.

I think they are saying she lied about what happened in Benghazi, what the White House knew, and when they knew it.

If she were white, what would her defenders be saying?

And that's my point,.. she didn't get it from the white house,.. she got it from the CIA.

As far as her growing numbers of defenders, (Because busting someones chops for passing bad info should go back to the ones who gave bad info - in this case the CIA.), if she were white,.. most believe this wouldn't be a conversation. Those making all that noise would either look toward the CIA or move on.

I think even if she was an angel, she would still be getting flack from the opposition camp. The Left's "it's just because she's/he's black" argument is getting a mighty threadbare. It is a lack of intellectual integrity to assume or claim that your detractors are primarily racists.

We know from sworn testimony that the CIA (Petraeus sign off on them and testified to same) issued 'talking points' that clearly stated it was a planned terrorist attack by Al Q, that there was no demonstration and even named the man and the group - then the talking points left Langley. Clapper and all those in that hearing said they had no idea who changed the CIA memo and said they did not do it. But they were changed, any ideas who you think changed them??
