Personally, I think all the emphasis on demands that Mitt Romney release 12 years of tax returns is nothing but an attempt to diffuse and distract from Barack Obama's dismal performance as President and a non-issue. Especially when Obama has done everything he can to seal his personal records... Seems a bit hypocritical? What do you think? Are the demands for Mitt Romney to release 12 years of tax returns really relevant to the issues facing struggling Americans who will decide this election, or just another ploy by the Obama camp to distract voters?

    no one was talking about the real issues that needed to be resolved when they were grasping at straws----and wasting valuable time and resources, I might add--- to find inconsequential things wrong with Obama and his eligiblity, which, was, of course, nothing more than a distraction.

    Obama's tax returns aren't sealed, he and other presidential candidates have released their tax returns. Romney not releasing his makes him seem likes he's hiding something.

    All others? Actually the trend of releasing tax records started when Nixons tax records were leaked since then it has become common for candidates to release them but still not a requirement.

    Wrong in recent history, McCain released 2 years, Obama Released 2 years and no one said a damn word that was the LAST Presidential election and this year Romney released 2 years and "may" or may not release more everything else is politics so that Obama can avoid the real questions about his last 3 1/2 years as President.

    As a candidate Obama released his returns going back to 2000, as did Clinton. Kerry released 5 years and Bush released 6. I stand by my comments.

    Yeah his %!! We are paying almost double! Total income taxed should be = to all total income taxed! If I am paying 26% then he should be taxed the same %. It is the person/families total income that is taxed!! Not cap at a dollar amount!

    I agree. I also find it absurd that people have been calling for Obama to release everything from his attendance records from elementary school but asking Romney to release his tax returns, when his own father released 12 years of tax returns, is too much and supposed to be a distraction.

    Obama is a Constitution expert and has only proven that it helped him get around it's requirements.

    Romney being a Tax evasion expert would mean he knows how to fix the tax laws so others can't evade taxes.

    Obama's campaign people remind me of that verse in Proverbs. The leech has two daughters, "give" and "give". They will never be satisfied. I wouldn't give them anything. And I would darn sure ask to see Obama's college records. I would rather know if Barack Obama is eligible to be president if he were a Foreign Student.

    2/3 of Americans want to see Romney's tax returns. And Obama has not done anything at all to "seal his personal records", liar. Obama has released 12 years of tax returns, why shouldn't Romney do the same?
