Personally, I think all the emphasis on demands that Mitt Romney release 12 years of tax returns is nothing but an attempt to diffuse and distract from Barack Obama's dismal performance as President and a non-issue. Especially when Obama has done everything he can to seal his personal records... Seems a bit hypocritical? What do you think? Are the demands for Mitt Romney to release 12 years of tax returns really relevant to the issues facing struggling Americans who will decide this election, or just another ploy by the Obama camp to distract voters?
Exactly, but this time America understands his games and most people would be happy for Romney to turn over his tax returns if we can see all of dumbos papers through out his miserable communist life!!
There isn't a SINGLE one in the leadership of the Party that hasn't had SERIOUS investigations into their activities.. Some,, Like Pelosi and Reid,, have had DOZENS.. They'd ALL be in Jail if they weren't ALL magicians..
They wave their Harry Potter Wands and POOF,, the investigations disappear in a puff of smaoke,, NEVER to be mentioned again..
What I believe is happening is that the left is reading the handwriting on the wall and resigning itself to the harsh reality [that] the man they trusted to "fundamentally transform America" is on the verge of being unelected.
There's precedent for Presidents keeping their college records private. There's also precedent (set initially by Romney's father no less) for releasing numerous years of tax returns. Also, college records from a Presidential candidate's teen years are less pertinent than are tax records from the years immediately preceding their potential term in office.
They're only relevant to liberals who will comb throguh them looking for some item they canh twist with legalese to make something look like somnething it isn't.
Barry needs something to destroy Romney's image. Without a successful assassination of Mitt's character, Barry can't win.
No, it is not required by the constitution and at best just gives the regime and the media ammo for knit-picking, half truthes and speculation.. As soon as the Kenyan turn over the needed documents to prove his true identity and Harry Reid turns over his tax returns for the last 10 years, then we might think about it. These people expect 100% cooperation from us while they do nothing.Except thumbing their nose and laughing about how gullible we are in private.
We are going to have to start fighting fire with fire if we are going to have a chance in November.
He stated publicly that he's never paid less than 13% on his taxes. When you make such a statement you have a responsibility to supply the evidence.
Of course, 13% is far less than any working American will ever pay, so even what he admits to is morally wrong whether it's legal or not.
Why is it that our tax code favors income for which no work is done over the kind that creates real value for our economy anyway? I think money earned only because you have more money should be taxed at double the rate paid by people who work for a living.
Romney refusing to supply information every recent president has offered to the American people is a distraction? He could end all the speculation in a matter of minutes if he chose too, so why doesn't he?
Mitt's taxes can show him to be a selfless philanthropist, but they will be talking endlessly from now till the campaign about how he should have done more.
Brother's keeper's George Obama youngest son of Obama Sr. needed surgergy for his son $1,000. An American other than his brother the President sent him the money !!!!!! How is that to be your brothers keeper his brother has millions of dollars but he keeps his own money but spends tax payer's money like water !!!!!!! It was a republican who sent the money !!!!!
Given that taxes on the rich are an important question in this election, with the Bush tax cuts expiring unless something is done about them and the Republicans and Democrats playing chicken over whether to continue them for everyone or just those making under $250k, it's certainly a relevant issue. Showing the actual tax rates of the richest Americans shows the situation in a direct manner.
They wave their Harry Potter Wands and POOF,, the investigations disappear in a puff of smaoke,, NEVER to be mentioned again..
Start a the top though.. It's like I ALWAYS say..
THAT which gets a Republican ( or anybody else for THAT matter )thrown in Prison or tossed OUT of Politics gets a Democrat PROMOTED"...
So their relevance is vastly different.
