No it is just because people these days want everything to be black or white, you are either in total agreement or you are against them that ideas like this come to the surface.
In reality people are more shades of grey, they agree with some of feminism and some of anti feminism views but are afraid to say what they truly believe out of fear of offending one side, the other or both.
I mostly agree with feminism but some try to take it too far. It is like they do not really care about equality but punishing people or achieving their own superiority instead.

I don't see how believing in gender equality makes you homosexual. I mean, I'm gay, and I'm all for equality, but that doesn't mean I'm gay because I believe in equality.

You do realise that in Europe, before the Industrial revolution, men and women working on the land had joint conjugal roles. Both parents would work, both parents would cook, Both parents would change the baby. That has always been the way on farms, and it was the industrial revolution, where men started to work in factories and the nuclear family took over, that traditional separate conjugal roles started to take over. I do believe in the premise that someone is always home for the children, but I don't think it should have to be the woman - it could be the man, it could be a close member of the family, like a grandparent.

But before the industrial revolution women weren't slaves to the government. They also weren't obsessed with making tons of money in order to buy all of the materialistic things that they wanted. The government portrayed being a stay at home mom as oppressive when its not. Feminism made women care more about their selfish desires then caring about raising a family and taking responsibility. It also started giving women the right to have an abortion and portrayed men's opinion on abortion as meaningless. It also started getting children into schools at an earlier age so that they could be indoctrinated and make kids care more about their friends opinions then their parents which caused a lot of children to rebel. It also made parents put their children at a day care center while parents went to work. I'm sure that has a bad effect on children in the long run.

No, before the industrial revolution, women and everyone else were slaves to the aristocracy and rich land owners. Little better. During the industrial revolution, people were slaves to factory owners. After the industrial revolution, people were slaves to the government as they used war as an excuse to tighten regulations on people, some of which are still in force today. I do agree that feminist movements were a bad thing, they moved off so quickly, the men at the time had no idea how to run a household, and they wanted to keep working, so people got more money, but family values and morals suffered, as all of a sudden there wasn't a parent at home all the time, so children had to look for different role models in the day time, which led to the inner city ghetto lifestyle, as the only people around were children and lazy, unemployed people, such as druggies and hippies. Not the best role models... And I agree about the schools, parents started using them as a place to put their kids whilst they went out living their dream in work and neglecting their children... Before, like in the 1950's, people were poorer, but they were happier, now they just care about their appearance and who has a bigger car...

Why do political affiliations always have to come up? What do they have to do with what I think? If you look at my profile, I don't have a particular affiliation because I actually like to think for myself and not follow some party line, like cattle. And definitely NOT gay. Also note that a male feminist doesn't denounce the role of men in society. They are all for women having the same place. It's called equality. No problem here. Why should that be a problem for you?

There is nothing equal about feminism. Men and women are unique to their gender nothing equal about them. That is why feminism and all other movements are a farce, if you want to be recognized for your difference there is no such thing as equality. In Latin, the term neuter, would properly describe what you seek that men and women be classified as. I am a man, my wife is a woman, we both bring unique perspectives and talents to the world, nothing equal about them. If you seek true equality there is no distinction between individuals. So any movement that recognizes gender, race, etc. is not seeking equality it is seeking recognition for uniqueness.
