Yes they are CAPABLE of honesty, but they lie to themselves so much that they often
don't know the difference between truth and falsehood, although I suspect at times
that do feel a little skittish defending some of their ridiculous positions. I don't really know if they are malicious or just terribly misguided and gullible.

Can't say the same for conservatives. Don't know if they just choose to not be honest, or if they really don't know the truth and consider their opinion good enough. Every debate I've had with one, usually people who happen to be classmates or even friends of mine, not a once did they bring evidence to back up their crap. And they proceeded to refuse to look up what I provided to disprove them with ease.

Progressives can be honest about little things but they are basically childish, weak, dependent and way too philosophy screwed up to handle reality or root intellectual honesty. That is why they tend to mass in herds, are known as sheople and their leaders always tend to be political mobster types.
