Are Conservatives proud to be uneducated- Santorum thinks you should be ?

According to Santorum President Obama is a "snob" for thinking college and higher education should be a goal for everyone.
The fact is unemployment for people with a college education is at 4.4% and for people with only a high school education it is 9.9%
College and higher education opens many doors for economic success and statistics show people that go to college are healthier and generally happier and their kids have more opportunities and their kids will also usually go to college.
Now I know there are educated Conservatives out there and even Santorum has an undergraduate, law degree and MBA and has said he wants his own kids to go to college.
So why would he want YOU and your family to not go to college or get a higher education ?
Maybe it is because college educated people generally become more worldly and educated to other cultures, races and ideology allowing them to be less biased and more open to differences and more open to change.
Maybe it is because college educated people generally lose their rigid thinking including political ideology that was taught them at home and many students that grew up in Conservative households no longer feel restricted to that ideology.

Conservatives like Santorum want to make it even harder to go to college by defunding colleges and taking away student loans and grants that help many people.
Have you ever put "common sense" on a job application and got hired ?
Santorum stated very clearly that he did not support people going to college. Obama supports all colleges including vocational and trades school colleges.

If you are well educated as you say why would you think education is not important for young people ?

Keep in mind Rick Santorum comes from PA and factory town where many worked in the steel mills never attending college college we're successful raised family and are contributing members of society. Obama thinks those that are not highly academia educated are beneath him. And with all his "supposed" education he is not that smart
These Santoum TP people do not want higher education and have openly declared war against is with their bills to cut school loans and grants and teachers salaries. That is well documented.
Yes there are some people that do not need higher education but the fact is jobs today require more education beyond high school and banks check education records for people wanting a loan to start a business.
The days of pulling yourself up by your shoe strings to start a multi million dollar company are over and that is just a reality.
How about direct funding by allowing people to keep more of their own resources so they can choose for themselves how they want to educate.. When if the ecconomy collapses you think those college degrees will be worth the paper they are printed on. One can always create a job/work as necessity is the mother of invention. Except when government works to prevent it

I would be happy to correct your opinion about president obama because it is obvious you have some misinformation but this is not the place or the time.
When Obama said he wanted college to be available for everyone it included vocational and trade school colleges.

Obama wants to increase vocational colleges and santorum wants to stop funding to these colleges.
