Republican Roll Call on Elena Kagan Nomination.

Posted: 05 Aug 2010 02:18 PM PDT

Elena Kagan has officially been confirmed as the 112th United States Supreme Court Justice and I am pleased to report that close to 90% of our Republican Senator's opposed her Nomination, which is something special when you take into account the lack of judicial filibuster's or even opposition by Republicans in a historical or present sense to Supreme Court Nominee's.

Here's the Senate Republican Roll Call on Elena Kagan:

Senator Alexander - Nay.
Senator Barrasso - Nay.
Senator Bennett - Nay.
Senator Kit Bond - Nay.
Senator Brown - Nay.
Senator Brownback - Nay.
Senator Bunning - Nay.
Senator Burr - Nay.
Senator Chambliss - Nay.
Senator Coburn - Nay.
Senator Cochran - Nay.
Senator Collins - Yea.
Senator Corker - Nay.
Senator Cornyn - Nay.
Senator Crapo - Nay.
Senator DeMint - Nay.
Senator Ensign - Nay.
Senator Enzi - Nay.
Senator Graham - Yea.
Senator Grassley - Nay.
Senator Gregg - Yea.
Senator Hatch - Nay.
Senator Hutchison - Nay.
Senator Inhofe - Nay.
Senator Isakson - Nay.
Senator Johanns - Nay.
Senator Jon Kyl - Nay.
Senator LeMieux - Nay.
Senator Lugar - Yea.
Senator McCain - Nay.
Senator McConnell - Nay.
Senator Murkowski - Nay.
Senator Risch - Nay.
Senator Roberts - Nay.
Senator Sessions - Nay.
Senator Shelby - Nay.
Senator Snowe - Yea.
Senator Thune - Nay.
Senator Vitter - Nay.
Senator Voinovich - Nay.
Senator Wicker - Nay.

36 Republicans voted no, only 5 Republicans voted yes. And if you remember as I do, close to a dozen Republicans supported Sonia Sotomayor last summer, while a majority (29) opposed, and I have just one more thing to note on this subject: Senator Nelson was the only Democrat to oppose Kagan.

You!

NOW the media makes a BIG deal about an Al Queada opereative in the country......ahhhhhhhhhh where have you guys been...on PLUTO? Our country is swarming with them like flies when the State Fair is in your town! Geeez! Obama and the other 3 previous presidents never chose to protect our borders. Clinton has reduced our military SOOOOO much it's a crime. Baby Bush had 9/11 and dropped the ball there...border protection an OBVIOUS NEED. Obummer invites Hamas sympathizers from Palestine to COME and live here for FREE...free housing, food and aid.....and deliberately puts a ding bat in charge of border security that says we DON'T need it. EVEN A CHILD when given the information and circumstances of the aggressor at large would have known in a nano-second that we needed to address our borders AND FAST!
MY thought this morning......every able bodied True American get to the shooting range for the next 3 months...get good...real good....and then ELECTION DAY......NOBODY VOTE! 10 PM EST be at WH and surrounding every available member of Congress..........CITIZENS and MILITARY COMMITTED TO THE PREVENTION OF THE EXTINCTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAVE TAKEN CHARGE........THE FOUNDING FATHER'S VERSION. NO MORE FUDGING WITH OUR 3 FOUNDATIONAL DOCUMENTS OR TREASON WILL BE CHARGED....

Collins and Snowe = no surprise, and it will play well in Maine

Lugar and Gregg = almost always give Presidential nominees a pass. Gregg is retiring and Lugar can stay as long as he likes

    Graham = is finished.

Nelson = running scared because of his vote that put Obamacare over the top.

I'm surprised Gregg voted to confirm Kagan. No, nobody from my state.

Do you ever think that perhaps these votes are orchestrated! I mean, Snowe from Maine has nothing to lose by confirming Kagan! She'll probably be re-elected because the State is fairly moderate!

Well you just never know how these things will turn out. Pelosi, Biden, Kennedy all opposed Justice Walker for his position because he was too conservative and look how that turned out.

Still, this is a sad, sad day for America. The Supreme court just got more stupid. It truely will take a generation to undo the damage that Obama has done to America.

somewhere along the way, Maine caught socialism...possibly from The People's Republic of Vermont-or from all the zipperheads that moved up from NY and NJ during the late 60's and early 70's 'to be closer to nature'...
