maybe if they are just a poor person with mental problems and they don't hurt anyone, or push others to believe its real too.

but sense the people who believe in the worst imaginary friend do hurt people and try to force it on others, I would say No to respecting them.

but those who are childlike about this friend of there's because they are a little out there well I have no problem with them, again as long as no one gets hurt.

I'm not sure about that. I guess that depending on the roll the imaginary friend plays in that person’s life, the physical and mental condition of the individual. And in what regard the person holds his or her imaginary friend. I hate to judge some one with understanding them a little better.

Well...

That depends on what you mean by imaginary friends. If you're talking about the kind of friend little girls have tea parties with then that would probably be a sign that the individual needs some mental help. If you're talking about believing in God, which i would guess by reading many of your other polls is who you are talking about, then i see no problem with it as long as they aren't killing people or committing other crimes in his name.

That depends on whether or not they're trying to convince me to believe in said imaginary friend too.

Some people need an imaginary friend to help make sense of this crazy world. I can respect that. Just don't expect me to pretend to see him too.
