Haneen Zoabi, a female Arab and member of Israel's Knesset (parliament), criticized Israel's policy as the reason for the terrorist attack in Bulgaria aimed at Jewish-Israeli tourists. MK Zoabi said, "Israel is not a victim, and even when civilians are killed, the occupying Israeli policy is to blame."
Israel allows Arabs, Muslim and women to run for office and sit in its national government, the Knesset. Zoabi belongs to the National Democratic Assembly in Israel.
Arab nations surrounding Israel don't offer the same rights to women or minority religions. Many surrounding Arab nations also deny the right to criticize the government. Ms. Zoabi should aim her rhetoric and accusations at her fellow Arabs before she condemns the peaceful, democratic, and tolerant nation of Israel.

BTW, Haneen Zoabi is not a "member of Israel government", "government" means the executive branch in most countries, she is an MK, a member of the legislative branch.
Also, several Arab countries surrounding Israel do respect religious minorities, although there ARE problems: Jordan and Egypt are two examples. Remember that the UN secretary-general was once an Egyptian Copt.
