It seems like we've been waiting forever... but the latest version of the ever-so-popular iPhone has finally been unveiled at an event in San Francisco. And it's called the iPhone 5. The smartphone is actually the sixth generation iPhone -- the fifth version is called the iPhone 4S --and has a faster processor, bigger screen and better camera. Are you planning to get the iPhone 5?

    I am too poor to own an iPhone of any kind. I am happy with my regular flip phone. It sends/receives texts and calls so I am happy with that. Also, it seems like a new iPhone comes out every other year and everybody always wants to upgrade ! Too expensive for me.

    Steve Jobs is gone, why would anyone think that Apple will ever be what it once was? Each time he stepped away, the company slipped, he can't be brought back this time, there's no app for that!

    I still don't own an iAnything.

    How many people can do basic math? The phone is worth somewhere between one and two hundred dollars. Real value - chips, transistors, labor, etc. Apple markets these things for around eight hundred, to boobs who require status symbols. But, the telcos barge in, purchase tens of thousands of these things, then resell them ON CREDIT, at prices approaching two THOUSAND dollars.

    Go on, people, do your own figuring.

    Meanwhile, I'll read the stories of abusive labor practices leading to suicides in China, to feed the American consumer's lust for status.

    I love the beginning headline, "It seems like we've been waiting forever." Sorry but the iPhone 4 is still just as damn good and it hasn't been out that long!

    I'm kind of sick of Apple, not only because they whore themselves out with new product that does basically the same thing as the last, but also because of the customers. If you drive or walk by an Apple store on the day they debut a new product, the line is out the door and wrapped around the building, people are bitching at how slow the line is moving, some break the line to go inside and bitch at the employees for not moving fast enough, etc. Shameful.

    And of course, every penny spent with Apple goes to the last major refuge of communism on earth, a nation that has forced women into unwanted abortions for decades.

    They are also in the midst of a major military build-up, so Apple's profits may well purchase the bullets that kill out children.

    Wallmart hasn't gotten a penny from me in over eight years, and they never will. I stand behind my beliefs, I don't just blabber about them on the internet.

    How thoughtful of you to offer an opinion on something you have no knowledge of though, do you often offer to stick your foot in your mouth up to the ankle?

    Kids under 13 or 14 shouldn't have ANY cell phone IMO. My 14 year old just recently got one. My 8 years old wants her own. If i could find one of the ones that were programmed with 5 or 6 numbers only, I would get that. But she doesn't need a full cell phone at all. iPhone is just a status symbol in school, and not really required for anything they need to do.

    ITs such a pointless waste of money. Apple needs to stop focusing on making there products faster and better and focus more on creating new ideas and innovations. They steal near everything from other companies. If it really took you 5 generations to add panorama Apple, then you are surely a horrible company and therefore do not deserve any of my money.

    I'm waiting for i-phone 65 beacuse I know it will be better than the 64, which was better than the 63, which was light years ahead of the 62, which smoked the 61 that trashed the 60 who creamed the 59..........................
